Research On Chin's Law System Through Inscriptions From Shui Hu Di

The substance of this paper includes analysing some mainpoints which have been being discussed for many years in the research of Ch'in-bamboo inscriptions system of Shui Hu Di. So the objects of the research contains the law system reflected in those inscriptions.The paper could be devided into such four parts: the Research of the Phrase Jiamen Nilv;the Research of the Imprisonment System of Ch'in; the Research of the Phrase Li Bu Zuo Hu;and the Research of the Case Called Waiqi Bie Zi.In Chapter 1, the Research of the Phrase Jiamen Nilv, a general introduction to former research is carried out, methods and the materials are made to outline this survey. I try to analyze the debation through many years after the bamboos came to light and explain the controversial discourse of the law of Wei from the Ch'in-bamboo inscriptions of Shui Hu Di.In Chapter 2, the Research of the Imprisonment System of Ch'in , I focus on the term of imprisonment in the imprisonment system of Ch'in and bring forword such a conclusion that the donkey workers of Ch'in didn't have a term for release.In Chapter 3, the Research of the Phrase Li Bu Zuo Hu, I revealed an amazing phenomena hiding in this ancient characters system,which could be generalized as:An innocent family would be involved into the crime committed by its member who was already a slave prisoner. Contrariwise, the prisoner didn't have such obligation.In Chapter 4, the Research of the Case Called Waiqi Bie Zi,I try to explain such a case recorded on the bamboos that a liberal wife of a slave prisoner who transmitted their son into another liberal family would be sentenced to become a slave.In the appendix,stuff derive from the main topics of this thesis are listed such as the Summarization of the Imprisonment System of Ch'in; the Summarization of the Discussion on Imprisonment System of Ch'in;and the Research of the Word Li(which means slave prisoner)in the Bamboo Inscriptions.
