Transcending Mind And Nature

Generally, Wang Yang-Ming's philosophy was seemed as the theory about Mind(心) and Nature (性) . Mind and Nature was the main topic of Wang Yang-Ming's discussion. But this paper wants to ask whether politics was possibility in Wang's philosophy? And how to it present if Wang's philosophy contained a political dimension? Our text will discuss around above-mentioned problem.As a philosopher, Wang Yang-Ming was not indulge himself with cultivating the heart and nature culture, but care about the outside world and the realistic politics profoundly. He is a political-philosopher. There was a strong political concern in the main business of Wang Yang-Ming's whole life. Mostly, Wang's business can be divided into three main aspects: academic researching, political action and educational business. In the academic researching, he advocated Mind-theory(心学) instead of Principle-theory(理学)or Zhu-Xi's theory. In the political action, he works hard for the government of the Ming dynasty. And in the educational business, he taught his follower and established many academies for reforming custom.In addition to paying attention to and participating actively to the realistic political world, Wang Yang-Ming delineates the Utopia of the ideal society in his philosophy theory. Wang take" integrating all created into the whole"(万物 一体) as good human life order, take "the administration of Three Generation " (三代之治)as ideal political model, and express his expectation to ideal social member with "all of over the street persons are sages " (满街人都是圣人) . Though this ideal view is a Utopia, it reflects the political dimension in Wang Yang-Ming's philosophy.According his ontology, the political dimension to Wang's philosophy presents a special thinking path.
