Mr. Toramaru Ito n is one of the Japanese famous researchers on Luxun after World War II. He set the thought of"Individual"as core, on the foundation of inheriting former Luxun research who carried through the self-reflection to Japan's aggressive behavior, constructed his own research system by using the cultural viewpoint and the comparative method. As a result he has the title of"Ito Luxun". From the history of Luxun research in Japan,"Ito Luxun"served as a link between the past and the future. On the foundation of Luxun researchers such as Takeo Oda, Takeuchi Yoshimi, maruyama noboru, Toramaru Ito pays great attention to inner world analysis of Luxun, thus he has molded a Luxun's image of"genuine Individualist". But the research and appraisal on"Ito Luxun"in Chinese academe are very limited, the viewpoints are unorderly, and more immethodical. Therefore, this thesis will take"Ito Luxun"as the object of research and on the foundation of reading texts such as literatures and articles on"Ito Luxun", I try to elaborate the characteristic of"Ito Luxun". This thesis consists of three chapters:Chapter 1 Contemporaneous trait of Luxun and the Japanese literature in: the discovery of"Ito Luxun". One of important viewpoints of"Ito Luxun"is that he elaborated the question of contemporaneous trait between the early time's creation and thought of Luxun and Japanese literature. Superficially, the creation of Luxun in his early time has not much relation with Japanese literature. moreover, many Japanese researchers also have the similar attitudes. But Mr. Ito actually has discovered interlinked the thing with the Japanese literature in Mingzhi's peroid from Luxun's creation in his early time. Mr.Ito elaborated the contemporaneous trait of Luxun with Ishikawa Takuboku,Zhiren Zhaitengye,Jiansan Neicun,Yuji Fuze and so on from the different angles in the book named Luxun and Japanese—Asian modern times and the thought of"Individual". In this chapter, the author grasps this kind of description of Mr.Ito from two aspects: firstly, taking the nationalism as the center, the contemporaneous trait of Luxun with Zhuomu Shichuan, Zhiren Zhaitengye, Jiansan Neicun and so on; Secondly, taking the scientism as the center, the contemporaneous trait of Luxun with Yuji Fuze. In terms of the first point, Shichuan Zhuomu, Zhiren Zhaitengye, Jiansan Neicun aren't the mainstream writers in Japanese Mingzhi history of literature. Mr. Ito relates them with Luxun. The biggest reason laid in that they once have criticized the civilization in the 19th century for national independence, once have exclaimed"talent"for national development. In terms of the second point, Mr. Ito pointed out that Luxun and Yuji Fuze both found"the modern spirit"behind the modern science. Mr. Ito's exploraion to the contemporaneous trait of Luxun and Yuji Meize is successful. He found out of"mentality communicates with each other"with Lu Xun from Zhuomu Shichuan, Zhiren Zhaitengye, Jiansan Neicun, Yuji Fuze. But these similarities hadn't let China and Japan step onto the road of the common revolution, actually had stepped onto the poles apart the path. As a profound introspection spirit scholar, what Mr. Ito wants to seek is"the difference from same"which behinds the"contemporaneous trait". The"difference"is that Luxun has the thought of"Individual". This kind of discovery's significance by"Ito Luxun"lies on that he has pulled closer the Chinese literature which far away from Japanese literature more and more to close the Japanese literature step by step .Chapter 2 The thought of"Individual": the core of"Ito Luxun"Mr. Toramaru Ito has the unusual explanation to the thought of"Individualism"of Luxun. He used the thought of"Individual"this glossary to display the core of Luxun's thought which gives us a feeling of pleasant change of atmosphere. According to Mr. Ito, the thought of"Individual"is that human awared the existence of Individual, and human's value is only in that he obtains the true independent significance to be able to demonstrate. The thought of"Individual"is the"root"and"the god marrow"in the modern Western culture. Luxun grasps it accurately, only then manifests the Eastern characteristic individuality. Mr. Ito began a stroke from Nietzsche in the Japanese popular process, described the social and cultural context when Luxun studied in Japan. In this kind of description's process, Mr.Ito discovered Luxun and Nietzsche's resemblance in thought structure, which was origin of the thought of"Individual". Mr.Ito utilizes the thought of"Individual"from Luxun to think about the question of Asian modernizztion, then seeks conjunction spot between"the nationalism"and the thought of"Individual". The author thinks this main body sought by Mr. Ito should be"the reality person"what Marx said. If Asia's each person become"the reality person", simultaneously realize that each one is free"the reality person", then Asia will not have the aggression. Only so is there true"interior communion"between Asian nations. This is Mr. Ito's desire, even everyone's desire who love peace.
