Buddhist Hyrid Chinese is a important literatures when we study mediaeval Chinese. Based on the corpus of the medieval Buddhist Hyrid Chinese of Benyuanbu, this thesis, through the comprehensive investigation into the conjunctions in Benyuanbu and in comparison with the conjunctions in the medieval Chinese literatures, diachronically studies the development and evolution of the new-emerging conjunctions in the medieval period, particularly through the conjunction of seven case studies, and sums up the characteristics of the conjunctions in Benyuanbu as well as their status in the history of the Chinese language. On the definition and classification, This paper directly points out that any one of the conjunction in the synchronic plane is dynamic, variable and it can be classed broadly, vaguely and certain subjectively through "family similarity" principal. Based on this understanding, the conjunction of the definition is the empty words that is usually located at the first part of the sentence and the role is connected or associated. When it comes to the demarcation conjunction with other parts of speech, in the specific operation, it takes the typical member of the conjunction as a reference standard, whether there is a relevance as a basis and the syntactic location for reference.Synchronic description. There are 190 volumes and over 230 million words at all, In the comprehensive and systematical investigations into the conjunctions in Benyuanbu, we not merely calculate the frequency of appearance of each conjunction, but also pay more attention to their grammatical functions, especially the similarities and differences of the synonymous conjunctions in function. For example, for use with the ancient tied conjunction Ji (及) and Yu (与) ,We compare the three areas from the frequency of use, grammar and word-formation function. We intentionally observe the conjunctions and analyze the grammatical functions of them in a perspective of complex sentences. it makes morphology and syntax combination, when it analyses the concession conjunction, it analyses concession-sentence through the concession conjunction, three elements of the concession conjunction are: assumption, concession, turning, it analyses and discerns concession and assumption conjunction.Synchronic comparison. Recognizing the Cuban Translation native literature and medieval literature is not only the same factors have different factors of the two documents。Through the analysis of the feasibility and necessity of the two literatures in the mediaeval times,it knows that Buddhist Hyrid Chinese is different to mainland literature in the mediaeval times. For their diferences, We study the usage of the conjunctions available in Benyuanbu in the medieval native Chinese literatures. Most importance is attached to the usage of the new-emerging conjunction in these two kinds of literatures. By synchronic comparison we find that there are four categories of conjunctions: those peculiar in Benyuanbu, The conjunction constitutes a Translation of the conjunction of the unique system of conjunctions。those with high frequency of usage and strong grammatical functions in Benyuanbu, The conjunction from one aspect reflects that the Buddhist Hyrid Chinese literature is spoken Chinese and close to the Middle Chinese。The two conjunctions are the target of this paper.and those with high frequency of usage and strong grammatical functions in the medieval native Chinese literatures, and those with same frequency of usage and grammatical functions in two literatures. It displays the characteristics of conjunctions in the Cuban Translation from the synchronic compare.Diachronic investigation. With emphasis on the status of conjunctions in Benyuanbu in the history of the Chinese language, we mainly study the emergence, development and evolution of the mew-emerging conjunctions in Benyuangbu and discuss the laws inhering in the development and evolution process of conjunctions. By diachronic investigation, we find that, among the new-emerging medieval conjunctions, those with high frequency of usage and strong grammatical functions in Benyuanbu have still been active in modern Chinese. However, those conjunctions with the same characteristics in the medieval native Chinese literatures have died out of the stage. We conclude that not only the usage but also the emergence, even the lifespan of conjunctions is related to the corpus. In order to build a complete history of the conjunctions in the Chinese language, we need value the literatures of Buddhist Hyrid Chinese and promote the study of literatures of Buddhist Hyrid Chinese to remedy the insufficient medieval native literatures. Through studying the seven new-emerging conjunction, this thesis sums up the conjunction disciplinarian of development and evolvement. In conclusion, on the basis of investigation of Conjunction in the Benyuanbu, Through the synchronic compare, diachronic inspection and case studies, We believe that, for the uniqueness of the language of Buddhist Hyrid Chinese literature , it is also different from the Conjunction system in the mainland literature conjunction, Conjunction system of the Cuban Translation is a syncretic system of diachronic and synchronic, mainland and foreign and dialect and Translation of Buddhist scriptures conjunction medieval studies, it can make up for lack of medieval literature as a result of inadequate research Conjunction from the research of the conjunction in the Buddhist Hyrid Chinese literature, it is able to build the history of Chinese history or the Division of the research results, providing detailed and accurate material for language contact and language typology.
