This thesis unifies the social history criticism and the psychoanalysis method to discuss the connotation and the characteristic of writer Han Shaogong's thinking.It has eight parts.The introduction points out the significance of research on Han Shaogong's thinking, summarizes the research results formerly, and proposes the subject and the mentality of present research.Chapter one grasps the basic content of Han Shaogong's society ideal through focusing his work in sacrifice consciousness.Chapter two inspects Han Shaogong's attribution to the building of a new outlook on life by means of history and psychological.Chapter three elaborates the subject evolution of story completed before the so-called root-seeking campaign in order to analyze the relationship of dynamic dialog between Han Shaogong and the thinking trend of enlightenment.Chapter four presents the way and the manner concerns about Han Shaogong's attitude to the traditional culture.Chapter five continues to reveal the complicated thinking concentrated in the word"root-seeking"by reading Han Shaogong's writings attentively.The conclusion summarizes some basic characteristic of Han Shaogong's thinking such as opening, practicing, suspecting and seeking.The appendix takes the work "Horse Bridge Dictionary" as an example to briefly elaborate the artistic characteristic of Han Shaogong's novel.
