Buddhist scriptures are a majority of Dunhuang literature,lots of Buddhist scriptures havescriptures' inscription.Its'content reflect the varying degrees in different periods of Dunhuangsocial and historical background of life and faith from all walks of life,such as aspects of mind.Therefore it has important significance for studying on gradual changes of Dunhuang people'sreligion from all walks of life in the Tang—Song Dynasty.In addition,there are quite a number ofBuddhist scriptures' inscription as a reflection of people's thoughts and feelings at that time,sociallife,customs,official system,involving the various aspects of social history.It make up somehistorical literatures in the Tang—Song Dynasty.It will help us further understand DunhuangBuddhist social change with the times,and the emergence of the Buddhist scriptures and thefluctuations of pray objects,changes of the contents of merit as well as cultural evolution in theTang-Song Dynasty through the classification of Buddhist scriptures.Dunhuang Buddhist havelocal features and Zhongyuan areas'characteristics.Cultural exchanges by taking the form ofBuddhist scriptures more reflect Dunhuang's cultural features.Transcribing sutra from Zhongyuanand surrounding area with Buddhist scriptures' inscription attached is a microcosm of Buddhistcultural exchange between Dunhuang and its surrounding communities.so it is a singificants ofreconstructing Dunhuang Buddhist cultural exchanges in the Tang-Song Dynasty.This article is divided into five chapters.The introduction introduces the object and meaningof selecting the title and reviews the history of the academic research on Buddhistscriptures'inscription,and Finally poses the logic thinking and study methods.Chapter Oneintroduces the origin of inscription and Buddhist scriptures transcribed in the early period,andhighlight that the study's values of some Buddhist Scriptures of Dunhuang manuscripts has not yetbeen found by the academic.In addition,inscriptions' contents are classified systematically,andillustrates the function and value of inscription.Chapter Two summarizes the inscription of thesutra translation in Dunhuang literature systemic,focuses the inscription of the sutra translation byXuan Zang,Yi Jing,studies their translation palaces involved monasteries,monks and officials,makes a brief analysis of the sutra translation's system changes in the early Tang Dynasty.Chapter Three arranges the inscriptions of"YiWeiJing"of Dunhuang Buddhist scriptures,focuseson"FoShuoBaYangShenZhouJing"and"XinPuSaJing"and so on.Chapter Four systematicclassifies the inscriptions by the identity of sutra written,analysises the writing's purposes andcharacteristics of the different sectors and social problems related.At the same time,studies on thetranscribing sutra's system of the central government in the Tang Dynasty.Chapter Fivesystematizes and arranges the inscriptions according to the major geographical distribution ofDunhuang literature,and focuses the origins of transcribing sutra from the Turpan(JushiGaochang),Jingzhou,Lingzhou,Sichuan and its relationship of Buddhist Cultural exchangesbeween Dunhuang and the areas.
