TITLEThe Research on the Phenomenon that the Same or Similar ContentsRepeated in Different Books before Western Han Dynasty——Taking the Excavated Bamboo and Silk Books as the CenterDuring Chou,Qin and early Han Dynasty some writings always repeated the sameor similar contents in different ancient books.Predecessors had paid attention to thisphenomenon and recognized these ancient books' stylistic features and the creationconcept before Western Han Dynasty.Since 1950's,A number of bamboo and silk books have been excavated,whichplayed an important role in the recognition research of the ancient books from Pre-Qin to Han Dynasty.In this article,we take the excavated bamboo and silk books asthe center,absorbing modern scholars' research results,using comparative analyticmethod,arrange and study the phenomenon that the same or similar contents repeatedin different books before Western Han Dynasty.On this basis,we investigate thecreation concept and the ancient books' stylistic features before Western Han dynasty.We also research the origin and development of ancient books,including the ancientbooks' writing date,complication course,data resources,chapters' division andcombination,and so on.Moreover,in view of collation sand exegesis we give furtherexplanation to the ancient books involved.The so-called"the same and similar contents repeated in different books"meansthat some excavated bamboo and silk books have the same or similar contents withthe other ancient books,which have inheritable relation,or have the same origin.Thephenomenon that several ancient books recorded the stories in the same modes hasalso been concluded.The time range we studied in this article is before Western Han Dynasty.Accordingto their contents,we divided the books into three categories:the common books,thebooks of strategists,and the technical books.For the common books such as Confucian notes like Liji,and Pre-Qinphilosophers 'works,according to the levels of"chapter - paragraph - sentence",wedivide the phenomenon into four categories as follows:1.There were repetitive chapters in several different ancient books;2.One self-contained book was separated or absorbed completely by other books; 3.There were the same or similar paragraphs or sentences in several differentancient books;4.Popular verbalisms were quoted or collected in different ancient books.In Section 1 to Section 4 we discuss these four categories separately.In Section 5 we discuss the phenomenon of several ancient books recorded thestories in the same mode.In Section 6 we discuss the phenomenon in the range of the books of strategists.In Section 7 we discuss the phenomenon in the range of the technical books.At last,we have summarized the achievements and the value of this article.
