Study On The Literature Mentality Of Tangshunzhi

Tang Shunzhi is a formous litterateur and thinker in the mid-Ming Dynasty. And he is a representative of the Tang-Song school too. He lived in the ZhengJia Period of Ming Dynasty. At that time, the ethos changed deeply. Li School took the place of literature on people's minds. The style of writing and the morale were damaged seriously. On condition that YangMing Ology was widely broadcast and accepted by more people, the Pro-Seven-men who were in the lead of LiMingyang and He Jingming sparkplug Return to the Acients, but their abuse——simulationemerged day after day which lead to being replaced by the Tang- Song school who protested the article containing way. Tang Shunzhi, Wang Shenzhong and MaoKun is the representative of the Tang-Song school. Later, influented by the YangMing Ology, he turned to Tao, and put forward to the True Qualities Theory . On the whole, Tang Shunzhi's theory of literature changed Simulating Ancient Theory of the Pro-Seven-men. He advanced the theories of "Having standards" and "No standards". Later, he turned to learned from Tang-Song Dynasty, and inherited the theory of the Orthodox School. He emphasized the article containing way. Then he brought forward the True Qualities Theory in the influence of the YangMing Ology.which unlocked the fashion of natural disposition and intelligence literature in late-Ming Dynasty.,which showed obvious transition character of a connecting link between the preceding and the following. So long as knowing about the whole opinions of literature of Tang Shunzhi, we may grasp the development and evolvement of literature theory in Ming Dynasty.The thesis takes an all-around review on Tang Shunzhi's literature theories which including his literature origin, technicality idea, the development of literature idea, and the main view of literature theories. The thesis take the way of combination of history and logic . It also analyzes Tang Shunzhi's literature theories deeply and comprehensivly in the way of intercrossing literature,history and philosophy.The thesis thinks that Tang Shunzhi's literature theories is a result of lots of factors. His early educational background, learning ideas, literature practice took a great part in it. His writing way was taking acient essay as nowadays eassy, which inflenced by writing way of nowadays eassy from Sothern-Song Dynasty. The writing skill of the nowadays and acient eassy penetrates with each other. Tang Shunzhi opposed the Pro-Seven-men ignored not objects but Tao,and he rectified the Pro-Seven-men's abuse. Afterwards, he put forward to the True Qualities Theory which leading character was stating one's view frankly. Tang Shunzhi's True Qualities Theory is the necessary result of the turning between Fa and Yi influenced by YangMing Ology. The True Qualities Theory emphasizes "real inspirit" which materialized in sensibility, that is to say, protested "neutralizational" feeling. It became another literature opinion influenced by YangMing Ology which often be ignored in the former investigation.
