Research For Lu Lun

Lulun(748-800?), who was also called yunyan, was born in Fanyang, and later moved his family to Pu. His father died when he was very young, then he followed his mother to Poyang where is his uncle's home during the year of Anshi Riot. At the anterior age of Dali, he went to the north for official post, but failed for sevelal times, then he was recommended and get the position of Wenxiangwei and later took several posts as follows: Shanfuhucaocanjun, mixianling, zhaoyinglingjianchayushi and joined Hunjianmufu in the second year of Zhenyuan. He took part in the government once again in 798 with the post of Hubulangzhong and died in 799 or later. With his son's dignity,he was then presented with the post of Bingbushangshu and Taizibinke, and was titled Gong after his death.In the middle age of Dali, he was popular in the noble circle by his articles and poetry, and was famous for "ten intelligience of Dali" in the capital with Liduan,qianqi,ji zhong fu, Sikongshu, Miaofa, Cuitong, Gengwei, Hanhong,Xiahoushen. The themes of his poetry were widespread, with comprehensive record on his own experience and the story of his heart, which could be considered as a bitter history of an intellectual during the period of Dali in Tang dynasty. Some of his poetry had high value on thinking areas, which enclosed the reality and his concern about people. His poetry not only had the typical features of Dali poems which were skilled at scenery portrait and character description, but also followed the spirit of Shengtang with the feature of lucidity. His favorite written style was putting the rhythm at the first sentence in Wulu, which is different from others. Also, he enjoyed using Liushuidui method with highly art skill, which proved the parlance of the popularization of Liushuidui method in Zhonetang dynasty. During the transition from Tang poetry's booming period to common period, Lulun reserved valuable writing experiences for another summit of poetry with other excellent poets.Lulun's poetry were very famous during that time and the later several decades, but became weaken with time passing. His articles were not saved. Peotry anthology went through several dynasties, and gathered 340 poem scattered in many places, at the basis of ten series of preservation, and were collected in Quan Tang Poetry compiled in Qing dynasty. Quan Tang Poetry complementary collected his a piece of imcomplete sentence.
