In the current era when the mass media is expanding literature transmission channels, the thought of the living space the development orientation of the literature is going deeper and deeper, the "Daily Life Aesthetic" is a concomitant discussion of "literary" generalization, and in the post-modern society, with the "literary" theory spreading to different disciplines , how the literary works which rely upon the traditional print media to expand their presence with the coexistence with other media will be a meaningful topic. With the thoughts on this topic, this thesis focuses on the phenomenon of film adaptation from the works of Chinese literature, trying to sort out and clear the laws and issues on the film adaptation in this time frame, determining the diverse transformational and innovative states in the development of literary elements in the art of film, thus to provide a reference for positive development of literature and the film in the multi-cultural context.To better achieve the research purpose, the paper adopted the method of comparative study with the reference of the research results from the topic studies, cultural studies, narratology, semiotics, rhetoric and etc. From the level of theme, artistic and aesthetic dimensions of the case study to analyze the phenomenon of the film adaptation from literature works in the new era and with an attempt to discover the historical path and the principles of change and innovation to reflect a specific time inter-textual relationship between the histories of literature and film for richer and deeper rational understanding of literature generalization phenomena.The Paper is divided into five main parts: introduction, research of adaptation of the theme, narrative structure studies, typical case analysis and the conclusion.Introduction lists the related issues of the adaptation of some related problems, reveals the academic value and appreciation space of film adaptation of literary works in the new period, so as to clear the focus and innovation of the research paper. This part is mainly interpreting from the angles of the origin, status quo, scope and methods involving the theory of discourse, showing the significance and value of the research, so as to make full preparation for the below interpretation.The first part reveals the state of conversion and innovation and the rules of thought flow patterns. Under the double impacts of the local culture and western culture, the new era literary works present a wide range of topics of art in terms of artistic spirits, form unique aesthetic representation of realism, modernism and postmodernism and cultural style. Affected by the ideological meaning of literature, the emerged value of the context of age and the creators'individual artistic taste, the film adaptation shows complex mode that these cultural spiritual evolution in rendering complex performance style in these cultures shows the evolution of the flow to further enrich and deepen the parcels in print media in the literary spirit of the content which can effectively promote the aesthetic culture of transmission and expansion of literary expression as the threshold. Similarly, literature and movies belong to different areas of print culture and visual culture , different characteristics of the media content between the two themes in the adaptation process may occur in the various variations phenomenon, especially in Chinese culture of the post-modern atmosphere which pinpoints that the spirit of metaphysical literature is often beyond planar when adapted to the nature of, or drowned in the focus on post-industrial society digestion subversion trend in the consumer culture, proper adaptation of this tendency towards a timely remedy to the negative effects the author needs to carefully balance the individual creators of artistic pursuit and the industry chain relationship between business profits in order to build the operating mechanism of fine artistic spirit.In the middle sections the focus was to explore the film adaptations of literary works in aesthetic expression level of development and the principle of deep transformation in the new era. An adaptation of literary and artistic works in the topic is more spiritually connected; more attention should be paid to the transformation and innovation of literature and film aesthetic elements. Although the literature uses the text in the form of linear narrative to express feelings, movies with lens discourse of sound, light and art combined effects reveal topic connotation, both in the arts presentation are of similar narrative elements, symbolic elements and rhetoric elements to complete art packaging, along with the literary and artistic creation in a specific time and space in the new era to grow in the maturity of the development process, film adaptation in the transformation and innovation level also has obtained more and more experience, and makes literary elements and movie elements in a transformation implement full of fusion gradually. But since some of the adapters are blind to the differences between film and literary works in the use of similar art means, and some aesthetic elements are blunt in the play, to a certain extent this damages the works of artistic achievement. In literature and film production it is important for the adapters to take serious of such mishaps and try to foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses for a wide variety of artistic innovation with successful practical experience of others for reference after screening the aesthetic elements. A variety of aesthetic styles bring the adaptors to a broader development space, and push the promotion of literature and film creation in art aesthetic dimension on a more substantial achievements.The next part was to further study through a typical case analysis of literary on the film adaptation of the New Phenomenon. Select the novel the Sesame oil Square on Lake of Scented Soul pond to its adapted film Scented Soul Female, novel Missing Gun to The Searching for Gun, and novel Happy to film Happy ,the three cases highlighted the concentration of elements of realism, modernism and post elements in adoptions to focus on research results of from point to an area, deep integration. For artists, the behavior of each adaptation should not only aim to the unique combination of different art structures which enables the profound emotion and personality to deepen the integration based on both the continuation and deepening of the literary vitality of the original, but also highlight the aesthetic style of the films and tries to realize a win-win situation for the aesthetic and economic aspects. So no matter what color the adapter highlights the cultural and aesthetic elements of artistic transformation, he should consciously abide by the basic law and the characteristics of the appendage of the media the text fits, and highlight the principal spirit of the creators, thus to make the due efforts for the promotion of ethnic culture and the spirit of the times. Through the analysis of these three cases, whether because of well-designed and successful experience, or the lessons of failure acquired by adaptation are able to render certain inspirations to a similar style, so from the point to the category, two kinds of artistic text links in the arts and aesthetic life are reflected in the meeting point performance and presentation deviations, which can be of significance to enrich and perfect moment of artistic creation.The conclusion part aims at the embarrassment of new film adaptation faced by China in the new century and indicates that the current film adaptation behavior still has room for further improvement, alienation of literature and film cannot really promote the long-term development of film art, but would make works of art into literary predicament anemia therefore there is the need to regulate and guide the film adaptation behavior in order to produce more works of art. Comprehensive and rational film adaptation need for further depth, director needs to seriously reflect on their behavior and coordination context of external adaptation and internal elements, the relationship between human care and entertainment consumption, cultivation of artistic practice and cultural relations will be able to realize literary creation, deep expansion to fresh juices, nourishment the art film and arts thrive in the movie adaptation. The Innovative point of the paper is not give a general talk about the adaptation theory and the adaptation phenomenon, but giving an inspection and combing to the docking between the literary and film phenomenon of the art during this particular time in the new era, thus creating a clean living space that devoid misunderstanding, building theory, Looking for and revealing the artistic process of transformation with new rules for the best of the current multi-cultural context of literature and film...
