Regardless of alienation had been given to what kind of connotations(religious, political, philosophy, humanity) in the historical pedigree of thetraditional theory of alienation, the problematic(way of thinking) of alienationtheories represents "non-alienation—alienation—non-alienation". In thesyllogism, the third is always with the stance of historical purpose. In otherwords, the problematic of alienation theory inherently sets a historicalpurpose. Similarly, the problematic of Marx's alienation theory also follows thesyllogism, which means that Marx's alienation theory may retain historicalteleology. Although Marx in mature period abandons the concept of alienation, but the dialectical structure of alienation theory is still playing a role. Doesthis mean that there are still residual traces of historical teleology in someaspects of Marx's thought? From the angle of theoretical logic, thesepropositions, such as the elimination of suffering and alienation, socialadvancement and achievement of Communism etc, are fully understood in thethinking of historical teleology. Marx's philosophy rhetoric provides moreconclusive evidences. The type of action of historical teleology in Marx'sthought is just like "Cunning of reason" in Hegel's thought. This indicates thatMarx's thought has a dimension: historical teleology. Historical teleology, scattered somewhere in Marx's thought, is different from traditional historicalteleology, but mode of thinking(historical teleology)comes down in onecontinuous line. The presence of historical teleology is both the mark which isleft by the western teleology tradition and the inherent requirement of theMarx's thought nature, so it has theoretical legitimacy of and practicallegitimacy. It essentially represents the value nature of thought.Although MarxAlthough Marx has repeatedly claimed that historical materialism is a "science", but he still reflects the history in philosophy, and metaphysicalconstructs history.
