With the affinities of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Chinese Communist Youth League (CCYL) has a special status in Chinese politics. It means that we can open out the internal rules of Chinese politics from a side of review the political function of CCYL. This dissertation centers on the internal relationship between the CCYL and the CPC, with the organizational capital as a core of the analytic conception and the political theory as a main analytic instrument. This dissertation gives emphasis to the analysis of the essence character of the CPC, the internal relationship between the CCYL and the CPC and the running rules of CCYL, and tries hard to open out the effect of the organizational capital in the survival of the CPC, and the political function of CCYL as an institutional arrangement for the survival and development of the CPC.This dissertation holds that the Communist Party has the internal demand of permanence maintaining its class benefit and realizing its ideal, because of its class characteristic and the pursuit of communism ideal. We name the political configuration for the successor polity, in which various political activities aim at the continuation of the cause of communism. Survival of the party is the base of the successor polity, so we must do it well to ensure the development of the successor polity. It contains a series of factors of internal resources in the various measures to ensure the survival of the party, which can buildup and maintain the correspondency to the organization of party and its member. The four factors are comprised of trust, criterion, relationship, members' gifts. The summation of these factors of internal resources is the organizational capital. By the driving of the consciousness of the party's survival and the member's development, it forms the reproduction mechanism of the organizational capital inside the party. On the effect of this mechanism, the organizational capital is reproduced continually inside the Party, which established the base of the survival of the CPC.The Communist Youth League was the result of the successor polity and the youth movement. The establishment of the Communist Youth League was a symbol of the great breakthrough in the form and the institutional arrangement of the system of the successor polity. The CCYL was a result of the successor polity and the political development in China. The CCYL has become a special approach of the political employment inside the CPC after a series of interaction and forms the institutional linkup of the organizational capital between the CPC and the CCYL.
