Mao Zedong's Theory Of Quality Research

"Quality" and existence are two identities, not only for the entitative being, but also for the spiritual being. The entity has its own quality. So does theory. The materials of theory are the real specific theorist and the history-time existence. The logic structure and manifestation mode are the form of theory. The particular forms of theory can be classified into theory of empiricism, rationalism, and practical materialism.The theory quality of Mao Tse-tung is in line with that of Marxism theory. It is the fundamental core of Mao Tse-tung Thought. The Spirit of Practice is the theory quality of Marxism as well as that of Mao's. However, the spirit of practice of each has complete difference. "Be practical and realistic" is the essence of the spirit of practice of Mao's theory quality. It aimed for the emancipation of Chinese people and pursued the unification of freedom and necessity. "Scientificity" is another theory quality of Mao, in way of dialectic, ontology, epistemology, that is, looking for reality, arguing for authentication and seeking truth. The third theory quality of Mao is "revolution". The theory quality of Mao conforms to the Marx's three rules about eyes, ears and teeth of revolution. It saw the future of Chinese revolution, heard people's appeal, and possessed the never-give-up fighting spirit of benefiting the mass.Mao Tse-tung theory was the essence of Mao's era. The formation of Mao's theory was closely connected to the ideological environment and real situation of the time. In Mao's perspective, any talk about Marxism apart from China's specific characteristics is only Marxism in the abstract, Marxism in a vacuum. Thus Marxism should be localized in China and expressed in Chinese way. Mao pointed out that Marxism should be closely combined with Chinese form. Foreign stereotypes should be prohibited. The abstract cliche should be discouraged. Dogmatism should be given up and replaced with vivid and popular Chinese style and characteristics.The theory quality of Mao is mainly incarnated in the dimension of practical reason, dialectic reason and value reason. The practical reason of Mao's theory quality refers to the deep thinking and spiritual structure in Mao's theory to learn about the world from the perspective of human practice. It starts with subjectivity, and advocates creative work. It is against ossified and closed thinking. The dialectic reason of Mao's theory quality is a unification of ontology, epistemology, historicism and outlook on life. It faces the social practice itself with critical spirit. The value orientation of Mao's theory quality is quite clear. Monism of "mass-worker-peasant"benefit can be used to summarize the orientation.The study on the deep "hard core" and "metatheory"in Mao Tse-tung's Thought, known in this paper as Mao's theory quality, is of significant importance to the in-depth study in Sinicization of Marxism. Comprehensive and systematic studies on the formation, development and of Mao's theory quality as well as the cause of formation, nationalistic style, practical dimension, rational dimension and value orientation can help us see clearly the significant role it played in the process of Sinicization of Marxism. It also helps us further understand the political value, theoretical value and social value of Deng Xiaoping Theory, "Three representatives" and Scientific Outlook on Development.
