As the contemporary curriculum study has come to multipolarization, one of its important trends is moving towards reflection and construction of curriculum study itself. This study considers the focus of the curriculum study is the curriculum problems, of which the greatest one at present is the profound ecological crisis of the human society, caused by the modernism. This study points out that ecologism is an inexorable choice, which will help to free human being from the existing severe predicament, and ecologism is very important to the development of curriculum study. This study takes ecologism view, applies the theoretical research method with the purpose of constructing the branch theory of the curriculum theory, including curriculum ontology study, curriculum value study, curriculum design study etc., which are applicable to the theory construction of the curriculum theory.The dissertation consists of seven parts:Introduction discusses the origin and definition of the concepts of ecologism and curriculum study, and expounds the value, the significance, the plan and method of the study.Chapter one is the curriculum ontology study. This part defines the concept of ecologism curriculum ontology, points out its features of integration, openness, colorfulness and development, systematizes its development in fishing and hunting civilization, agricultural civilization, industrial civilization and ecological civilization.Chapter two discusses the ecologism curriculum value study. This part approaches the intensions and characteristics of the ecologism curriculum value, discusses four kinds of ecologism curriculum value ideas: promoting understanding, respect andprotection with nature, strengthing sustainability in the social development, elevating ecologism in cultural development and advancing the hannony of individual development.Chapter three focuses on the ecologism curriculum design study. This part analyses the concept and orientation of the ecologism curriculum design, expounds the indispensability and feasibility of the hannony, connection, and development as the ecologism curriculum idea, sums up four kinds of its characteristics: integration as its direction, living world and scientific world as integrated, philosophy, psychology and culture theory as its theoretical basis, nature, society, culture and student as its four bases.Chapter four studies the ecologism curriculum objective. This part establishes the basis of constructing the ecologism curriculum objective: educational objective, the curriculum philosophy and the origin of the curriculum objective, discusses the ecologism curriculum objective from the point of emotion, attitude and value, process and method, knowledge and skill, analyses three kinds of declarative styles of the ecologism curriculum objective.Chapter five focuses on the development of the ecologism curriculum resources. This part maintains that the analysis of the curriculum resources intension should keep in contact with curriculum content It also sums up the features of the ecologism curriculum resources from development, colorfulness, integration and discrepancy. Because the scope of the curriculum resources extends as far as the natural environment, the curriculum resources are composed of natural environment resources, social environment resources, cultural resources and subject resources. This part also discusses the principles of the developing and organizing ecologism curriculum resources.Chapter six studies the ecologism curriculum implementation and evaluation. This part discusses the connotation, orientation and influence of the ecologism curriculum implementation etc, explains the basic principles of the ecologism curriculum implementation. At last, this part approaches the concept and method of the ecologism curriculum evaluation.
