This thesis is based on dialectical materialism and historical materialism. From the pointof relation between information technology and education, with a variety of culture,communication and media theories, it gives an overall examination of a brand-new educationpractice program project called informationalized education and discovers the performanceand influence of the cultural practice of the informationalized education. It is the first time torealize the discussion on informationalized education research from the angle of culturetheory.To achieve the informationalized education is the request of the information society andalso is the fruit of education revolution of modern information society. This thesis renders anoverall discussion on the significance, influence and manifestation of informationalizededucation which is a brand-new practice of education culture from the point of culture theory.The thesis is divided into eight chapters.The introduction depicts the definition of the topic of this thesis explicitly and givessome necessary explanations on the concept of culture,education culture and the relationsbetween education and culture.Chapter One:From the point of relations between informationalized education andmodern revolution of education, this chapter systemically introduces the basic characteristicsof information and information society, the influence of information technology on modernrevolution of education ,the basic definition of informationalized education and the situationof informationalized education all over the world.Chapter Two:Through the retrospect of ideological trends of culture in 20 century, thischapter provides the possible interactions between informationalized education and culture.Furthermore, it points out the basic characteristics and functions of education culture whichhas been shown in different scope and degree in the process of the practice ofinformationalized education.Chapter Three:As one of the characteristics of information society, internet and internetsociety has a significant influence on nowadays education. The culture model provided byinternet and its society is an important task that has attracted attention from people. Applyingthe internet and its society to education field produces a new method of education -interneteducation which is also a new education culture practice. The influence of internet and itssociety on education especially on role of teachers is the key problem discussed in thischapter.Chapter Four:Education, which is a special cultural practice, has to face the forms andinfluences of the culture communication. This chapter has a discussion on the following fields:significance of culture spread, history, media and culturology, media culture of informationsociety and the internet spread mode. After that, it reveals the relations betweeninformationalized education and culture communication.Chapter Five:Informationalized course culture is an important part of the educationculture in the context of infomationization. Course is not only the media of culture, but alsothe contents of culture communication and the process of culture practice. The main issues ofthis chapter are classified into three aspects, which are meanings and primary spirits of thecourse in the context of informationalized education culture practice, value preference ofinformationalized education and appreance of the course.Chapter Six: Information technology and the course integration are two important partsof the culture practice of informationalized course. They are also a crucial field of currenteducation informationalized deployment. This chapter develops from the introduction of thetheory of education integration,and then reveals the goals and meanings of educationtechnology and integration of disciplines.This chapter suggests several modes of courseintegration and proclaims the relations between information technology education and othereducations.Chapter Seven:Interpersonal communication is one of the main activity ways of culturalpractice, so the characteristics and influence of interpersonal communication in the process ofinformationalized education is one of the problems which have been concerned by people.This chapter argues this problem from three aspects, that is,communication process andculture communication, methods of communication and education culture andcommuniciation activities in informationalized education.Chapter Eight: This thesie defines culture in a wide scope, therefore education cultureconsists of parts of material element. Without the application of kinds of the informationtechnology in the process of education, informationalized education becomes just an emptytalk. Thus, information technology, as a specific fruit of culture, becomes a part of the culturepractice of informationalized education. This chapter focuses on the introduction of thecurrent education techniques which have taken effects and points out the new vision ofeducation in the context of information technology.Conclusion:This chapter summarizes the significance, contents and possible influence ofcultural research on informationalized education and makes a conclusion of this thesis.
