With the development of the Electronics Science and Technology, Electronics Data Acquisition system (DAQ) becomes more and more important in the large scale experiments of physics, while cooperating with the physical experiment, both of two benefits from each other. Large scale physical experiments now call higher request on the DAQ system as the experiments go further. The developing speed, operating per-formance and extension performance of the DAQ is expected to be improved. The DAQ system is applied popular, but its investigation is on the start and exploration stage, there have not much theoretical analysis on it.The design of the structure and the division of the block function of the DAQ systems were mostly taken the examples from the existing systems. If there is no similar DAQ system, we can hardly design a DAQ system to meet all requirements just by ourselves. A lack of penetrate into the system and the inconsiderateness of the design will be the main problems of those DAQ systems. Systems will lack of opti-mization, compatibility and augment ability for those reasons. Most times, we should make great modification for such systems when experiments change. This will pro-long the time of DAQ system development and increase system cost more or less.Sufficient theoretical research should be taken in the present condition of the DAQ systems development. It can guide developer to reduce the complexity of DAQ system, and improve system performance. On the other hand, same regularity and standard will increase system compatibility. Both hardware and software can be reused as modules without any modifications.It has great significance for us that existing well-tested functional modules can be used directly in our new system.This paper presents the research of the DAQ system from the system structure and function. Based on the theoretical research the conclusion of the analysis, a gene-ralized model can be carried out to simulate the common DAQ system. This module can let us focus on the standard structure and function to reduce the complexity of the design and let us have a wide compatibility. Working process and communication agreement was also put forward in this paper to unify the DAQ system.The first chapter introduces some DAQ system structures and the current condi-tion of the research of the DAQ system. It also presents the purpose and content of the research. The second chapter decomposes the structure of the DAQ systems, analyses the structure and function of the sub-system. And it also introduces the design principles of those functions.The third chapter takes theoretical analysis of those DAQ systems, and put for-ward the standard of the measurement. Beside it introduces the design methods of the common DAQ systems, and builds a generalized model of the system based on the topological structure and the features of the data flow. It also decides the functional structure in the meantime.The4th chapter goes further based on the third chapter, the content of this chap-ter includes:process of the initialization, the transmission of the data, and the transfer path of the data.The5th chapter discusses the measurements of DAQ system. It mainly includes the contents and methods of measurement.The6th chapter presents the requirements and contents of a real DAQ system. It gives an instance of a common DAQ system module. Hardware and platform was also introduced in this chapter.The7th chapter summarizes the main idea of this thesis, and point out the future work of the DAQ research.
