Land-facies fault lake basin is the main petroliferous basin in eastern china in Neozoic era and Mesozoicera. During the period of its growth, a series of fan-shaped macro grained depositional body called glutenite body developing in the steep slope belt are found, which is an important discovered gas-oil reservoir in recent years. Such kind of glutenite body reservoir has the characters of complex origin, strong reservoir heterogeneities and is hard to description, so it is necessary to develop and integrate a new prediction and research technique for such kind of subtle hydrocarbon reservoir.In this paper, the new method is applied by comprehensive utilization of the mud logging, well logging, geological and seismic data and carried on by use of multi-disciplinary coordination research to dissect the glutenite body of the sand 3 and 4 member in the steep slope belt of Shahejie formation in northern part of Dongying basin. through the 3D palaeogeomorphic restoring, the fault system growth discipline and the "two concavo two convex”ancient geomorphic feature in the fan sediment are discovered in Shengbei fault zone; and by use of the well logging faces, a sand body sediment division criterion is made up for the sand 3 and 4 member including 11 sediment stages.On the basis of systemic seismic attribution and wave analysis, comprehensively utilizing seismic attribution and wave feature to optimize, combine and analysis, and further to carry on landscape orientation prediction of the glutenite body. Combing with the genetic type of glutenite body in the steep slope belt and the 3D ancient geographic feature, it is figured out that nearshore subaqueous fan, fan delta, alluvial fan and slump turbidite fan are developed in the belt; fan delta and alluvial fan are mainly developed in Shengtuo area; acoast underwater fan and slump turbidite fan nearing fore edge of nearshore subaqueous fan mainly in Yanjia area. Meanwhile, during the whole sediment period for the sand 3 and 4 member, the fan sediment growth center migrates from south to north and east to west.Seismic reservoir prediction is an essential technique to describe the oil-gas reservoir. After the systemic analysis of the feature and the adaptable condition of seismic inversion result, and the comprehensive utilization of the pre-stack and post-stack seismic data, Pre-Stack Constrained Stratigraphic Inversion technique is adopted to conduct the glutenite body reservoir prediction. 3D analysis result reveals the differently spatial spread features: reservoir beds spreading and overlapping as a waistband along the ancient fault erosion surface;through applying the neural network technique for reservoir parameters inversion (porosity inversion), and the geologic statistics method for analyzing the spread character of reservoir, 8 advantageous exploration target area and 2 risk exploration area are found in different glutenite body according to the sediment and structure.After focus on the research of glutenite body reservoir, by use of the new prediction technique, mud logging, well logging, geological and seismic data, a new reservoir research method of“sub step (macroscopy-microscopy), repeat (dissect step by step)”is set up , and at the same time a new work flow which is agree with glutenite body reservoir prediction is also achieved, and it is worth to popularize for such sediment environment.
