Environmental problems are global issues of common concern to current human society. In recent years, with the rapid development of sustainable development and the urban economy, urban greenways become one of the most important elements of the urban landscape, the sustainable development of its linear spatial structure of the urban ecosystem function, and the city’s landscape effects has an important influence. At the same time for the city residents to provide an open space for leisure, healthy living for urban residents has an important role. At the same time, with the rapid development of social life and city size, environmental noise pollution is getting worse. In the design and use of urban greenways, and appeal of the state of the acoustic environment louder and louder, the sound quality of the environment is gradually being valued by the public. According to relevant statistics show that noise pollution has become the third pollution after atmospheric pollution and water pollution, adverse effects of environmental pollution on human health become to a combination of factors which brought increasingly serious. How scientific knowledge of landscape ecology, designers and managers to effectively improve the urban greenways acoustic environment, thus fully functional city greenways, it is purpose of this study.Study object on urban greenways soundscape in this paper, designed to detect the current characteristics of urban greenways soundscape, sound mining on the city greenways, comfort affect to the relationship between users and various factors within the environment, in-depth study of urban greenway relate to soundscape and ecology, ecological concept clear to the sustainable development of urban greenway construction soundscape as development goals, and on this basis, proposes soundscape design strategy based on ecological view of urban greenway.This paper selects the typical Taiyuan city greenways space as the research object, first launched combined with computer software for simulation field test, from all the major elements of urban greenway, including the minor axis direction of linear landscape space, the longitudinal direction, node landscape and border landscape space, analyze their sound source and sound propagation characteristics, the type of urban greenway space, soundscape features selected for sure.Secondly, the research object is expanded questionnaire survey by using statistical regression analysis to expand the analysis of the survey results, study of space sound source in urban greenway, acoustic comfort for users and the environment impact evaluation of the relationship between mining city greenways soundscape with subjective evaluation of the main factors.On the basis of sustainable development in soundscape ecology-oriented, coordinated greenways soundscape of urban design and ecology, explore the coordinating role of urban greenway soundscape construction and natural, cultural and ecological development of healthy and build a evaluation system for ecology based on city greenways soundscape.Finally, creating comfort design were targeted on urban greenway soundscape, based on the sound source, user and environment mainly acoustic comfort factors were put forward strategy of soundscape design; for limitations of small-scale spatial soundscape design approach proposed design countermeasures; for ribbon spatial characteristics of urban greenway summarize the highlights of soundscape design.In the public’s increasing emphasis on environmental issues and promote sustainable development and the establishment of ecological awareness, soundscape of urban greenways may sound environment for their comprehensive evaluation, governance, providing innovative ideas and scientific basis for planning and improvement strategy etc.
