Summary Of He Tianyou’s Academic Experience And Clinical Study Of The Shuganxingyang Method For Chronic Non-bacterial Prostatitis And Sexual-dysfunction

Objective: To evaluate the "Shuganxingyang" method on its clinical efficacy and superiority for Chronic non-bacterial prostatitis and sexual-dysfunction.Method:62patients of Chronic non-bacterial prostatitis and sexual-dysfunction were randomly divided into two groups, the study group which were given the "Shuganxingyang" treatment (30cases) and the control group which were given Cernilton herb treatment (32cases). The study group was given one acupuncture treatment every day, with30minutes of needle retention. They were treated for4weeks.The control group ws given Cernilton herb treatment Tid, They were treated for4weeks. On the14th,28th day statistical notes of the clinical efficacy was taken. We used the CPSI(Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index), CISFPE(Chinese Index of Sex Function of Premature Ejaculation), IIEF-5(International Index of Erectile Function5) to evaluate the clinical effection.Results:1. CPSI:After14and28days the CPSI in the study group was clearly lower than before treatment (P<O.05), the control group the CPSI was clearly lower after14and28days then before treatment (P<0.05)2. CISFPE:After14,28days of treatment CISFPE of both groups was clearly higher than before treatment (P<0.05). After14and28days of treatment there were significant differences in the CISFPE between the two groups (P<0.05)3. IIEF-5:After14and28days of treatment the IIEF-5for both groups were clearly higher than the IIEF-5before the treatment (P<0.05), There were significant difference in the IIEF-5between14and28days treatment in treatment group (P<0.05). While there were no significant difference in the IIEF-5between14and28days treatment in control group (P>0.05)Conclusions: (1) The "Shuganxingyang" method has a certain clinical efficacy for Chronic non-bacterial prostatitis has significant difference in clinical efficacy from Cernilton herb treatment.(2) The "Shuganxingyang" method has the advantage on forward efficacy when used for sexual-dysfunction.(3) The "Shuganxingyang" method has works faster than Cernilton herb treatment when it comes to treat Chronic non-bacterial prostatitis and sexual-dysfunction.
