PURPOSE:To investigate the effectiveness of post-operative analgesia in gastrointestinal surgery department, and to observe the application of local infiltration anesthesia in gastrointestinal laparoscopic surgery of tumor.SUBJECT:The discharged patients who survived gastrointestinal surgery during Mar.2013to Sep.2013; And the patients received between Oct.2013to Feb.2014, more than18years old, diagnosed with stomach or colorectal tamor, who needed limited operation.METHODS:Use questionnaire designed to investigate140random patients, analyze and statistic the postoperative acute/chronic pain and the satisfaction degree of post-operative analgesia over all; In the RCT, randomly grouping52subjects into Experimental group (30) and Control group (22). Extraperitoneal infiltration anesthesia is given just before the beginning of laparoscopic surgery in the experimental group, not given in the control group. Of both groups the postoperative pain (VAS), vital signs, complications, gastrointestinal functions, postoperative hospital stay time and hospitalized expenses are observed and recorded.RESULT:The investigation shows about52.9percent discharged patients of119could clearly remembered the pain during hospital, with the mean NRS score of4.68±1.12; Approximately73.9percent and47.1percent patients thought in turn that the postoperative pain affected their early movements and expectoration. The over all satisfaction degree of postoperative analgesia is3.27±0.81, with full marks of5, and about47.9percent of patients gave scores no more than3. In the clinical trial, the postoperative pain of experimental group is much lower than control group1h,3h,6h,18h,36h and48h after operation, with less side effects and more stable vital signs, faster gastrointestinal function recovery, shorter hospital stays and somewaht less postoperative complications and much less hospitalized expenses.CONCLUSION:The postoperative analgesia of gastrointestinal surgery can not control perfectly the acute postoperative pain for now. And we need try some other analgesic ways to improve. The local infiltration anesthesia of Ropivacaine just out of the peritoneum can improve the analgesic effect, help patients recover from surgery, without increasing the side effect and hospitalized expenses.
