| Object: Use Heart rate variability(HRV) to evaluate XinZang function in Chinese medicine objectively.Methods: XinZang functionin Chinese medicine is divided into CangShen function and Zhu Xue Mai function. CangShen function can be evaluated by the quality of sleep and fatigue. Zhu Xue Mai function can be evaluated by cardiac function(NYHA). Sleep quality, fatigue and cardiac function are closely related with the autonomic nervous system. Heart rate variability(HRV) is commonly used to determine autonomic nervous activity as quantitative indicators currently. Therefore, XinZang function in Chinese medicine could be evaluated objectively through analysis of the quality of sleep, fatigue and cardiac function by HRV.Results:â‘ HF, LF/HF, rMSSD and the night/day of HF, rMSSD, PNN50 could be the objective indicators as Cang Shen function. The better function of Cang Shen, the higher parameters of rMSSD, HF at night and LF/HF during daytime. The night/day parameters of HF, rMSSD, PNN50 are higher. The index above all had significant circadian rhythm.â‘¡Linear analysis indicators SDNN, SDNNI and the night / day of HF, LF/HF, rMSSD, PNN50 could be the objective indicators as Zhu Xue Mai function.The better function of Zhu Xue Mai, the higher parameters of SDNN, SDNNI and the night/day ofHF, r MSSD, PNN50, while the night/day of LF/HF was lower. â‘¢ Nonlinear analysis indicators Poincare plot graphics, SD1, SD2 and multiscale entropy function could be the objective indicators as Zhu Xue Mai function. Poincare plot was shaped as comet when Zhu Xue Mai function is normal. Poincare plot was shown as torpedo, patch or irregular when Zhu Xue Mai function is abnormal and with decrease trend of SD1, ALS and multiscale entropy. â‘£ In the area of Zhu Xue Mai function, HRV linear and nonlinear index change were prior to left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF%) and E/A.Conclusion:XinZang function in Chinese medicine could be evaluated objectively through analysis of the quality of sleep, fatigue and cardiac function by HRV. |
