The introduction of this dissertation is about the location of Longyan and the summary of previous studies. Chapter1is the comparison of accent spoken in Longyan, Chapter2is the analysis and description of the pronunciation of Minnan dialects spoken in Baisha town. Baisha town is the largest town governed by Longyan,so the pronunciation of Minnan dialects in Baisha town can be representative comparatively. Chapter3to Chapter5is about the phonetic diachronic comparison between Minnan dialects and Hakka dialects.Chapter6and Chapter7is about the phonetic synchronic comparison between Minnan dialect and Hakka in the light of some pronunciation characteristics studied by some scholars. Chapter8is the conclusion of this dissertation.Chapter3to Chapter7are the focus of this dissertation. There are64items to compare. Among these terms,42iterms particular emphasize on Minnan dialects and15iterms particular emphasize on Hakka dialects, while7iterms are different from Hakka dialects, and the center part of Minnan dialects. The statistics suggest that Minnan dialects in Longyan keeps some general characteristics of Minnan dialects as well as it has some characteristics of Hakka dialects. At the same time, it has its unique characteristics differences from those of Minnan dialects in Xiamen and Zhangzhou and Hakka dialects. This consists to its geographical location,to its history and the present administrative ownership.
