This article only comprehensive, exhaustive research on the cognate words in the first three chapters of "ER YA ".The latter sixteen chapters are mainly the name and substance of exegetical study, not of this study. Cognates are words that come from the same etymology, namely, they are words of kinship both in voice and semantics."ER YA," has always been considered a synonym dictionary, therefore, to identify each speech similar to the word, basically can be identified as cognates."ER YA " type cognates can be roughly divided into two types:explained words and explaining words are cognates each other, or explained words and explained words are cognates each other. Each type there are a number of forms.There are basically five types between the voice relatives of "ER YA " cognate words:the same voice, dual sound rhyming, dual sound similar rhyme, the rhyming initials similar and similar in both initials and rhymes.The two types of semantic relationships are meaning of the same and meaningful similar.The rate of the cognate words in the synonyms in the first three chapters of "ER YA" is more than one half, indicating that the pre-Qin era sound training accounts for a sizeable proportion of the pre-Qin era Phonetic accuracy is quite high. The first three chapters of "ER YA " are of explained ordinary words, and the cognates occupy a large proportion in them, not accidental, which suggests that in interpreting the words, the pre-Qin scholars had consciously or unconsciously use of sound training. Despite the lack of a theoretical argument, but the pre-Qin scholars to the use of sound training techniques that had been very skilled. In a sense, the first three chapters of "ER YA " have homologous nature of the dictionary.Rrom "ER YA " cognates, old glosses have many cognate words in them, most of which are correct. Past, some people thought "Meanings from Sounds " of the highest realm of exegesis, not without reason. The traditional exegesis of the scientific, must be interpreted to constitute the rationale of the word, to reveal the etymology.
