Thomé H. Fang’s Study On The Philosophical Thoughts Of Huayan School Of Buddhism

Studying on the Huayan philosophy, Thomé H. Fang was different from the usually method of the history of philosophy that focused on grasping the historical data. He focused on grasping the inner thought of the classic book philosophically, and served for reality. Thomé H. Fang.The first chapter of the paper discussed the basic theory of Thomé H. Fang’s Huayan philosophy. This chapter mainly analyzed the academic position to study Huayan philosophy of Thomé H. Fang, the method to interpret Huayan philosophy of Thomé H. Fang, the theory basis to discuss Huayan philosophy of Thomé H. Fang. Ouyang Jingwu said both religion and philosophy were not the orientation of philosophy and religious in western world, but Thomé H. Fang’s view was that Buddhism were both religion and philosophy, it showed Thomé H. Fang’s knowledge position to the western world and his high confidence to China Buddhism.This was also his philosophy position to study Huayan philosophy. Researching on Huayan philosophy, Thomé H. Fang’s Huayan philosophy.The third chapter of the paper discussed the theory that Thomé H. Fang r-esearched on the relationship of Huayan philosophy and Chinese philosophy. T-his chapter mainly analyzed the theory that Thomé H. Fang researched on the relationship of Huayan philosophy and Taoist philosophy, Huayan philosophy and Confucian philosophy, Huayan philosophy and other sects of Chinese Philosophy. Thomé H. Fang thought, India Buddhism in China became China Buddhism, becom-e the unique wisdom of Chinese spirit, became pure Chinese thought, became an important component of Chinese ideology and culture, was because Chinese succe-ssfully digested India Buddhism.
