Media.Space.Memory:Space Construction And Aesthetic Study On Chinese Independent Documentary(1988-2012)

The importance of memory is highlighted in a modern society labeled as speed and forgetting, The independent documentary has become a significant media in memory presenting because of its non-fiction feature. Therefore, study in view of memory is not only a breakthrough perspective in documentary research, but also an attempt of using film memories to link the past and the future.The independent documentary’s evolvement connects tightly to development experience of media.
