A Study On Language Of Dunhuang Medical Volume

Corpus value of Dunhuang manuscripts’ oral literature has been concerned always. In fact, the Dunhuang literature has not been tampered and each type of Dunhuang literature has a unique irreplaceable value. In more than one hundred of Dunhuang medical volume, many of them are not recorded or lost in historical records. Because of particularity of medical books, there are rare phenomenon of language and culture of other literature in them.The article studies word, vocabulary, grammar and culture of Dunhuang medical volume. The chapter of word studies characteristics of words, provides the words not being in dictionary and documentary evidence. The chapter of vocabulary studies name of drug as a key object.1729 names of drug are picked out,1022,59% names of drug aren’t found in Zhonghua Yaohai.They provide the words not being in dictionary and documentary evidence. The chapter of grammar selects using of quantifiers as the focus of the inspection object. A large number of detailed materials provide possibility of amendment to the old view and establishment of a new view for studying quantifiers before the Song Dynasty. There is close connection between literature and culture. The chapter of culture studies culture of name of drug, especially rare cultural phenomenon, and provides new materials for traditional culture.
