There are more than ten gold deposits and about 1,000 tons of gold resources in the 100-kilometers long Zhaoping gold ore belt, which is the most important gold metallogenic belt in Jiaodong Peninsula. However, it seems difficult to make a breakthrough in ore prospecting for thick cover section. Therefore, based on the differences of geophysical affinities between different geological bodies and combined with multiple geophysical methods, this study defined the geophysical anomalies of the ore-controlling fault zones, the ore-bearing altered granites and the mineralized bodies, and analyzed the corresponding relationship between ore-cotrolling factors and geophysical anomalies. Main acknowlegements are as follows:(1) Building integrated geophysical prospecting model for the alteration rock type deposit:Defning regional NE-NNE fault zone and metallogenic prospecting area by regional gravitity and aeromagnetic anomalies; Defining structure, rock mass and mineralization alteration zone in the plane by Magnetic method and IP intermediate gradient; Locating the blind faults, rock mass and ore bodies in cover area by CSAMT.(2) Guojiadian negative gravity anomalies and the two surrounding converted zone indicated that the eastern anomalied zone corresponds to the Zhaoping fault zone and the western anomolied zone corresponds to the contact between Guojiadian pluton and wall-rocks. Areomagnetic anomalies also display converting changes, thus five thick cover sections including Damoqujia, Baishichuan, Xiaominzhuang, Banbidian and Douyacaojia are delinated as metallogenic prospecting areas. Combined IP intermediate gradient and Area magnetic anomalies predicated three advantaged mineral foreground area, namely Jiaogezhuang, Douyacaojia and Shanhou.(3) The blind ore bodies mainly host in the steep and slow conversion of the main faults, dilatation and structural convergence positions. The blind ore bodies mainly host in granite body located in the footwall of the main fault. Its geophysical symptom is some high valued wells locally in low resistivity region. Three targeting areas are delinated in this study, namely JGZ-1, JGZ-2 and BP-1, with elevations of-300--900m,-400?-1000m and -400?-1200m, respectively.(4) The comprehensive geophysical exploration model for deep ore body under coverage area can predict the position of deep ore body.
