In this paper,seven new Mo?W?/S/Cu polymeric clusters have been assembled by the building units[MOnS4-n]2-?n = 0,1;M = Mo,W?and sub-copper salt with bipyridine ligands?4,4'-azpy and 4,4'-bipy?,and well characterized.In addition,six new sub-copper salt coordination compounds and three Ag/Cu heterobimetallic coordination polymers have also been synthesized and structurally characterized.Among these compounds,two are two-dimensional polymeric clusters,six are three-dimensional polymeric clusters,seven are one-dimensional coordination polymers and one is two-dimensional coordination polymer.In addition,a zero-dimensional W/S/Cu cluster and a Ag-I cluster have also been obtained.They are as follows:[W202S6Cu6?CN?3?4,4'-azpy?4]n?1?[Mo2O2S6Cu6?CN?3?4,4'-azpy?4]n?2?[W202S6Cu6?CN?3?4,4'-azpy?2]n?3?{[WOS3Cu3?SCN??4,4'-azpy?2]·CH3CN}n?4?{[MoOS3Cu3?SCN??4,4'-azpy?2]·CH3CN}n?5?{MoOS3Cu3?4,4'-bipy?3[I]}n?6?{[MoS4Cu4?4,4'-bipy?4]2+[MoS4Cu4?4,4'-bipy?2?I?4]2-}n?7?[Cu2I2?4,4'-azpy?2]n?8?[?4,4'-azpy?Cu2??2-I?2?PPh3?2]n?9?[?4,4'-azpy?Cu2??2-Br?2?PPh3?2]n?10?[?4,4'-azpy?Cu2??2-Cl?2?PPh3?2]n?11?{[Ni?4-pytpy?2][Ag?CH3CN??NO3?]?N03?2?H2O?2}n?12?{[Ni?4-pytpy?2][Ag2?4,4'-bpy?]?NO3?4?DMSO?4}n?13?{[Ni?4-pytpy?2][Cu3?SCN?5]?CH3CN??DMF??H2O?0.5}n?14?[Cu2Br2(C13H14N2)(C18H15P)2]n15[WOS3Cu3[?C6H5?3P]3Br]?16?{[Ce?DMF?8][Cu8I11]·C2H5OH}n?17?{[Co?DMF?6]2[Ag7I11]}?18??4,4'-azpy = 4,4'-azobispyridine?1.Three Pillar-layered 3D Mo?W?/S/Cu cluster polymers were constructed from[M2O2S6Cu6?CN?3]?M = Mo,W?clusters connected by 4,4'-azpy ligand.All three polymers were characterized by FTIR,UV spectrum,and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.The structural analysis shows that coordination polymers 1-3 crystallize in the monoclinic system.2.Two Pillar-and interpenetration-layered 3D Mo?W?/S/Cu cluster polymers 4 and 5 were constructed by[MOS3Cu3?SCN?]?M = Mo,W?and 4,4'-azpy ligands.Both polymers 4 and 5 were characterized by FTIR,UV spectrum,and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.The building units[MOS3]2-?M = Mo,W?in 4 and 5 exhibit five-connected mode.3.Two Mo/S/Cu cluster polymers 6 and 7 were constructed by[MoOnS4-n]2-?n =0,1?unit and 4,4'-bipy ligands.Cluster polymer 6 exhibits a 2D structure based on the distorted tetrahedral geometry cluster;while 7 shows a 3D structure which is composed of ions interpenetration.4.One 2D layer coordination polymer 8 and three 1D linear coordination polymers 9-11 were synthesized by solvothermal method and constructed from sub-copper salt and 4,4'-azpy ligand.All these polymers were characterized by FTIR,UV spectrum,and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.5.Two novel 1D long chain heterobimetallic coordination polymers 12,13 and one novel 2D network coordination polymer 14 were obtained from the reaction of the precursors[Ni?4-pytpy?2]?NO3?2 and Cu+/Ag+ with ancillary ligands?4,4'-bpy,[SCN]-?.Single-crystal structures,thermal stabilities and fluorescence properties of these compounds have been investigated.6.1D coordination polymer 15 was constructed from CuBr and bridged ligand,while the W/S/Cu coordination compound 16 based on {WOS3Cu3[?C6H5?3P]3}+ was obtained by diffusion reaction.In addition,a 1D cluster polymer 17 and a cluster 18 were obtained with the cation-template method.
