With the advancement of urbanization,the environment problem seriously influence the human production and life;meanwhile greatly restrict the sustainable development of the city.How to carry out ecological construction in urban economic and social development?How to continuously tap the extension and connotation of urban ecological construction?How to include ecological construction in urban construction,and coordinate the relationship between urban ecology and urban social,economic and cultural construction?All above problems will be the eternal theme required to explore in the new construction of the city in the gradual improvement of ecological awareness today.Are the urban ecological construction patterns created and named by various eco-cities conducive to improving the sustainable development of urban development?Are there any internal mechanisms to support urban ecosystem construction?These questions need to be examined and judged by seeking effective scientific methods.The characteristics and problems of urban ecological system construction were analyzed and diagnosed systematically and progressively in Xi'an Chanba ecological zone taked as a case study.Xi'an Chanba ecological zone were named and confered as a number of national ecological demonstration.In addition,the strategies of urban ecological construction were put forward at last.These strategies based on system diagnosis were to ensure the ecological characteristics and development vitality ofChanba ecological zone.The guiding ideology of the urban sustainable development and the theory such as landscape ecology,urban ecology,urban sociology,and urban economics and so on were based on in this paper.The analysis methods included the landscape pattern analysis,the analysis of landscape ecological service value,system emergy analysis,ecological health assessment and coupling correlation analysis.(1)The evolution pattern of landscape pattern of Chanba ecological district in 2004,2009 and 2014 were analyzed by the combination of remote sensing interpretation and GIS spatial analysis.The results showed that the conversion of urban and rural areas in Chanba ecological district was obvious,the landscape of farmland decreased significantly,and the absolute superiority of base landscape was gradually lost.The landscape of construction land and ecological landscape increased by 93.2%and 185%respectively.The landscape of farmland decreased 70%,and turned to the landscape of construction land and ecological landscape,which base effect gradually lost.Compared with other regions,the dynamic change of ecological land was the strongest.In addition,it was found that fixed assets investment is the main driving force of landscape pattern evolution in Chanba ecological district.(2)It is showed that the analysis of ecological service value of Chanba ecological district which based on the landscape pattern analysis increased about 28.5559 million yuan(460.6 million US dollars)from 2004 to 2014.Among them,the value of farmland ecological service was decreased 64.5%,and the value of ecological service of water and green space increased by 219.9%.In 2014,the ecological service value of green space and water ecosystem accounted for 86.9%of the total area,which showed Chanba ecological district ecological construction contribution was outstanding,and the environmental quality improved significantly.(3)Chanba ecological district's eco-system emergy is highly dependent on external input,and the non-renewable resource input for the absolute advantage.The emergy output of the system changed from ecological output to economic output.Emergy yield significantly improved,which reflected the emergy input-output efficiency,and increased from 33.9%in 2004 to 233.2%in 2014.The ecological load rate increased first and then decreased from 0.88 in 2004 to 0.76 in 2014.The eco-sustainability index were reduced from 0.28 in 2004 to 0.19 in 2014.The economic output rate rose from-0.95 in 2004 to 1.2 in 2014,and achieved profitability.The promotion of regional economic development were significantly improved.Economic and social sustainability changed significantly,which index rose from-0.19 in 2004 to 1.57 in 2014.Urban Sustainable Development Index rose from 0.04 in 2004 to 0.31 in 2014,which indicated that the sustainability of urban system is significantly enhanced.(4)The assessment index of ecosystem health system was constructed based on emergy analysis,and the levels of ecosystem health were evaluated using the stress-state-response model.The results showed that the ecosystem health evaluation index of Chanba ecological district were 0.359,0.452 and 0.536 respectively in 2004,2009 and 2014,the health levels were showed an upward trend from the poor level to the general level.The contrast of the health levels found that the health level of Chanba ecological district were far smaller than the surrounding three areas in 2004 and basically flat with them in 2014,which proved that the implementation of the ecological development strategy of Chanba ecological zone has a significant effect on enhancing the ecological health level.(5)The study of the coupling coordination relationship between urban ecological construction and urban ecosystem health that based on applicated of synergy theory was integrated use of landscape pattern,system coupling coordination theory,entropy-weighting method and so on.The coupling model of urban ecological construction and urban ecosystem health was established,and the coordinated evolution of Chanba ecological zone were carried out.The result indicated that,from 2004,the Chanba's ecological construction and ecosystem health have been in a state of benign coupling.The coordination degree of the two systems have been changed from minor uncoordinated to general coordinated,which indicating that the urban ecological construction of Chanba ecological district has obvious effect on the improvement of ecosystem health,but the level of Chanba 's coordination needs to be improved.(6)By comprehensive diagnosis of the Chanba ecological district,it is indicated that the development strategy of ecology construction in the early stage of Chanbaecological district has a positive effect on improving the healthy development level of urban ecosystem.However,the Strategy has a certain gap between with efficient development goals and ecological health coordination requirements.The Strategy should be turned from epitaxial landscape ecological construction to the comprehensive trade-off social,economic and ecological relationship between the connotations of ecological construction changes.Chanba should comprehensively promote the multi-regulation planning and red line delineation by the top layer design,planning control,technical support for the orderly development of urban space.Chanba should promote the headquarters economy,low-carbon economy,circular economy and other new forms of ecological development,and promote construction of water-saving society,low impact development,green building and other resources intensive and efficient use,promote energy structure adjustment,prevention of water reuse,waste separation and recycling;and also carry out multi-faceted,multi-angle ecological and cultural construction and multi-field,multi-link ecological system innovation.It should be realized the connotation type ecological construction of urban new area,realized the sustainable and healthy development of the city,and provide reference for the construction of similar city.
