Infrared radiation control and microwave reflection control are two important technologies in modern military stealth field. Under the guidance of national development strategy, called "Military and Civilian Integration", these two technologies began to play an important role in the civilian field. Infrared radiation control could be used in keeping clothes warm and building energy efficiency. Microwave reflection control could be used in electromagnetic shielding and device protection. Conventional infrared radiation control materials, such as silver, have a low infrared emissivity. However, they generally have expensive price and large density, and are not good microwave interference shielding materials. Polyaniline and polypyrrole, two important conducting polymers, have advantages of low-price rare material, easy polymerization, good environmental stability and adjustable properties, which is the reason to draw researchers’ attention to be used as electrode materials and biomimetic materials. Meanwhile, after being doped, polyaniline and polypyrrole have high infrared reflection and good microwave properties.Hence, they can be used as infrared radiation and microwave reflection control materials. In this paper, polyaniline and polypyrrole were used as the main materials and polymerized in ammonium persulfate and hydrochloric acid system. Polyaniline doped with camphor sulfonic acid composite, polyaniline doped with graphene composite and polypyrrole doped with poly dopamine composite were fabricated. The infrared properties of polyaniline doped with camphor sulfonic acid and the microwave properties of these three composites were discussed. Main research contents are as follows:1. Polyaniline was polymerized by in situ method. Polyaniline doped with camphor sulfonic acid was fabricated by a "dope - de-dope - re-dope" method. How different doping ratio influence the conductivity, infrared emissivity and electromagnetic parameters was researched by changing the doping ratio of camphor sulfonic acid. The interaction of infrared emissivity and microwave reflection loss was also investigated.2. Graphene was used as base material. Polyaniline doped with graphene was fabricated by one-step doping method. Morphology of the composites was observed.Conductivity and electromagnetic parameters were tested with different mass ratio of graphene. Graphene being oxidized was discussed. Microwave reflection loss of the composites was studied with the different mass ratio of graphene.3. Pyrrole was copolymerized with different molar ratio of dopamine by the in situ method and the polypyrrole doped with polydopamine composite was fabricated.Morphology of composites with different malar ratio of dopamine was observed.Conductivity and electromagnetic parameters were measured to research how could different molar ratio of dopamine influence the microwave reflection loss properties of the composites.
