This paper comprehensively sorts the article of abdominal palpation which recorded in the "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" and "Synopsis of prescriptions of the Golden chamber" of Zhang Zhongjing,classifying and gathering the statistics of abdominal terminology of Zhongjing.It shows that 145 lines are in the "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" and 132 lines in the"Synopsis of prescriptions of the Golden chamber".Totally there are 315 relapses and 158 types in 25 categories including Qi-shang-chong, Xiong-man,Xin-zhong-pi, Xiong-zhong-tong, Xin-zhong-ao-nong, Xin-xia-pi,Xin-xia-ru,Xin-xia-man, Xin-xia-ying, Xin-xia-tong,Xin-xia-ji, Xin-xia-pi-ying,Jie-xiong,Xiong-xie-ku-man,Xie(-xia)-tong,Xie-xia-ju-ji,shao(xiao)-fu-man,fu-man,fu-tong.This paper classifies and analyses features of every abdominal disorder acoording to documents at all times as well as clinical experience of various homes,integrating the original and analyzing the diagnostic disorders and clinical significances of abdominal palpations of Zhongjing one by one.The paper first uses the analysis method of characteristics of five-organ system’s syndrome differentiation of location and nature in TCM Diagnostics,to study the five Zang-organ system diseases and the related nature of diseases.The common cardiac abdominal palpation includes Xin-ji,Xiong-man,Xin-xia-man,Xin-zhong-pi,Xin-zhong-tong, Xin-xia-jian, and Xin-xia-pi-jian. For the lung, there are Chuan-man,Xiongman,Fu-man,Fu-tong, Rao-qi-tong, Shao-fu-zhong-pi,Fu-pi-ji,An-zhi-ru.As far as the spleen is concerned, it contains syndromes such as Fu-man, Fu-tong, Xin-xia-pi, Xin-xia-pi-ying, Xiong-xie-zhi-man, Xin-zhong-ao-nong, Xie-xia-tong.
