Research On The Development Of Shanghai Campus Football League

The promotional slogan of "Sports back to education, football back to campus” indicates that campus football carries hundreds of millions of Chinese people's football dream. In the golden age of campus football development, Shanghai initiates a new model of the campus football activities based on the campus football league. Shanghai Campus Football League(hereinafter referred to as the "League") innovates the system and mechanism, builds a docking system between "1-2-4-8 one stop training system" and "college league and division", and plays a positive role to promote the Shanghai campus football activities for sustainable development.Taking the shanghai campus football league as research objects and 15 members of the university "League" as well as the docking districts /counties division league as survey respondents, the study, adopting the methods of literature research, survey research, case studies and mathematical statistics, conducts a systematic research of the "League" and development issues of "League".The results were as follows:1. The study demonstrates the aim and feature of "Campus Football League" with multi-disciplinary theory. Campus Football League, featuring its autonomy, symbiosis and resource sharing, presents the role of university leadership in campus football activities. The aim of campus football activities is: taking the improvement of teenagers' physical health as the purpose, building youth-oriented "campus football" service system, setting up the league system and soccer training system adjoining to university, middle school and primary school under the educational mission of "cultivate the moral and integrity of a person", and gradually forming a comprehensive, convergence, promotion and social participation "campus football" developing league with the feature of Shanghai urban development. The study refines the values of the campus football activities, such as the value of cultivate students, foster spirits and fortify physique, the value of training football talents and the value of creating a school football atmosphere and the harmonious campus sports culture.2. With the "Campus Football League" established as a symbol, Shanghai campus football has experienced two stages of start-up and development. Driving by the ‘two engines' of the district and university, Campus Football League mode with its unique organizational management system and operational mechanism founds the comparatively consummate system of Shanghai campus football activities, "1 university-2 high schools-4 middle schools-8 primary schools" one stop training system and the basic framework of docking system between college league and division. Campus Football League mode is a good attempt to motivate campus football activities to be of independence, socialization, marketization and internationalization.3. The imperfect competition system, training system and curriculum development are the main bottlenecks of the Shanghai campus football. While the unsmooth docking system between "1-2-4-8 one stop training system" and "college league and division", and the less-prominent universities' leading role are the key issues to be solved.4. The study, adopting the confirmatory factor analysis method, verifies the feasibility of constructing a six-factor dimensions of sustainable development dimension factor "League". The "innovation and development alliance factor" is most important factor that affects "League" for sustainable development. The "league job security factor" is the second important factor. The "Campus league member factor", "alliance competition factor," "league training factor," and "external environmental factors," are significant factors affecting the "League" of sustainable development.5. The study makes a theoretical research on short and long term aims, rights and obligations, objects, content, path of "League" development model led by universities, and build a new model of "Campus Football League” led by universities. The "League" development model evaluation program led by universities and the two evaluation system are established.6. The following strategies are put forward according to the "League" development status and the influence factors: establishing the autonomous "three horizontal and one vertical" organization and management system; building an open, fair and just market bidding system events and setting up title sponsor, official sponsor and supplier of the three designated sponsor system; constructing the four level coach training system of football instructor, primary coach, junior coach and senior coach within two years by "League"; reforming the athletic football curriculum to build tactics curriculum system of the elementary, junior high, high school and college football; establishing the elite training system to form cyclic football talent selection mechanism strategy. The study also proposes that strengthening the core status of universities leadership should be the important strategy to promote sustainable development of "League".
