Architectural entity is a cardinal geographical entity that holds great significance to GIS.The lifespan of architecture is restrained by two factors.One of them is social and economic factors which decide what to build;the other is environmental factors which decide how to build.Construction structure binds the natural environment with the construction entity while the research of construction structure in response to the external environment is also built on construction structure model.Therefore,construction structure model grant construction entity the ability of perception of the physical environment,which makes them live.Due to lack of unified structure model,severe gap reveals during the process of traditional construction structure modeling like design,analysis,evaluation,revision and other sectors.Meanwhile,low information reuse among different segments,heavy workload repetition,inefficiency in the iterative optimization in model design,evaluation and modification have severely restricted the construction structure design and modeling quality.On the terms of means,it is also inefficient since the current structure design,structure modeling,structure assessment require model transformation and parameter adjustment between different models of heterogeneous systems while many types of load combinations depend on manual input and application.Thus,under the "sausage" design model,compatible coordination is difficult to achieve.Geodesign is a planning and design method closely combining the formation with the design factors simulation of geographical environment.Geodesign philosophy highlights the environmental impact of the design,concentrate focus on the iterative feedback between the "program" and "assessments" as well as the collaborative coupling between heterogeneous systems throughout the design process.Geodesign concept provides a new way for the design and modeling of construction structures.The research of the method of GIS and CAE(Computer Aided Engineering)synergistic coupling is based on the concept of Geodesign and the response of construction structure under different loading conditions so as to iterative optimize the construction structure model and enhance the quality of construction structure design as well as its efficiency.Under the concept of Geodesign,this paper focuses on the dynamic modeling of construction structures.The main research contents of this paper are as below.(1)Study the traditional process of construction structures design,and discover the defections.On the terms of the principle and status of construction structures design and analysis,summarize the process and stage of construction structures design.Explore the cohesion and information multiplexing efficiency between the stages of construction structures' "Design-Analysis-Feedback Modify" as well as the deficiency and reasons.(2)Probe the concept,composition and logical structure of construction structure model.On the basis of the construction structure characteristics of itself and law of structural design,generalize the concepts of construction strutures and hierarchical relationship between concepts.Establish conceptual model and logical model construction structures.At the same time,explore specific data structures of the construction structure model of the component geometry,member relations and member properties.(3)Search ways to extract the relevant information from the construction model to swift build architectural models.On the terms of construction models and structural models,investigates the similarities and differences between existing information(construction model data)and demanding information(structural modeling data needed).Study solutions for dealing with the different information type and information representations.Investigate the structure information extracted from the OAM as a construction model example to establish the structural model rapidly.(4)Probe the approach for GIS and CAE collaborative.To connect all stages of the design structure,discusses the structure model as a link to GIS/CAE coordination coupling method.Study the specific method of structure response feedback,structure modifications based on GIS/CAE synergistic coupling structure analysis so as to achieve dynamic iterative modeling mode for structures designed under the concept of Geodesign.The major contributions are as the follows:(1)Established the conceptual model and logical model for construction structures.Construction structure model and building information model are immensely different.This paper systematically studied the conception,logic and expressions of construction structure model to fund basement for designing shared information and iterative optimization of structure design.(2)Propose the approach extracts modeling information from the construction model for creating construction structures.Making full use of existing information to quickly build model structure is a prerequisite to enhance the efficiency of structural design.Construction model gives the necessary structure model constraints(component type constraints,spatial layout constraints,etc.).This paper summarizes the method of extracting the relevant information from the construction model(OAM)to establish the structure model.(3)Construction structure analysis,evaluation and feedback iterations were achieved based on GIS and CAE(Computer Aided Engineering)synergistic coupling.By selecting a specific GIS and CAE sofrtware for the topics of this research,the design,analysis,review of the structure model under synergistic coupling design ofCAE and GIS is accomplished on the basis of building the structure model.
