The word phase space originated from the classic theory of physics,referring to a theory method which changes the two-dimensional complex function to a high dimensional density function by using position coordinates and wave vector coordinates to describe optical field information.When being used for describing the optical object,such method can simultaneously use the phase distribution information of targets itself and that caused by transmission medium,making information more complete and more consistent.There will be more available mathematical tools if dealing with transmission and transformation and information extraction problems of complex light field by such theory,and more convenience to use mature image processing technology.With these unique advantages,many problems cannot solved by traditional methods will get its solution easily,such as multiple points of view wavefront detection in full FOV,turbulent structure reconstruction of transmission medium,etc.Because the density function cannot be sampled by traditional optical method with real-time high-resolution,therefore,the practical application of this theory is heavy restricted.Light field camera is a powerful tool to solve this problem with its ability of recording all directions rays intensity from the same object point,which includes the space coordinates and the wave vector coordinates required by density function.This paper analyses the characteristics of all kinds of light field cameras,and realizes high resolution sampling of full FOV phase space density function of complex scene using multiple focus types focused light field camera structure.This paper also improved information extraction algorithm of light field camera based on the theory of phase space optics,and calculated the full FOV phase map with higher-order,solving many problems such as turbulence-degraded image clarifications,turbulent structure reconstruction,high dynamic 3D point cloud calculation and multiple points of view wavefront detection of extended beacon.Paper's main research results and innovation includes:1.To propose a phase retrieval algorithm which can gradually improve resolution using multi-level intensity information based on phase space optical analysis method.This method reconstructs the pupil phase distribution by acquiring multiple layers of intensity distribution on optical axis direction,and the recovery precision gradually raise with the number of layers.2.To design and develop a focused light field camera,analyzing the dynamic range,resolution and other parameters.To optimize extraction algorithm of full FOV phase map and system parameter calibration algorithm based on the theory of phase space optics,realizing multiple levels information extraction and reconstruction of different DOF and full FOV targets.3.To use phase space optics on monitoring and control of array beam application,providing technical basis for multipath beam splice system.Among these chapters,a 3D picture of flame,a clarified photo of text through the strong turbulence,and a heat map of high temperature turbulence pool,are shown to prove the new ability of light field camera.At the end of article,such technology is applied to large array of beams,and a test prototype realizing the real time closed loop correction of the outside atmosphere transmission is shown.
