Paper one Research on the Specificity of Collaterals on Lower Energizer Region of Syndrome of Yin-deficiency of Liver and Kidney based on the Theory of Diagnosis of Inspecting EyesObjective:Based on the theory diagnosis by inspecting eyes of Peng’s,using bulbar conjunctiva quantitative analysis of modern medicine,observing the characteristics of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva on lower energizer region between healthy volunteers group an the group of patients with Yin deficiency of liver an kidney(containing headache dizziness and stroke).Anaylzing the difference between two groups by using itemized quantitative analysis,providing morphological evidence for the theory of diagnosis by inspecting eyes.Method: Patients of Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney were screened from the patients in Rehabilitation center of affiliated hospital of Liao Ning university of traditional Chinese medicine and were incorporated into observation group.Healthy volunteers were recruited and selected from the students of Liao Ning university of traditional Chinese medicine and the family members of patients.There were no statistical significant difference in age and gender between two groups.According to the theory of eye acupuncture region-dividing point location,we chose lower energizer region of left eye of patients and healthy people to observe.Referring to the method of bulbar conjunctiva microcirculation(BCMC)quantitative analysis made professor Tian.We chose some of the items from the method bulbar conjunctiva microcirculation quantitative analysis of Tian’s.Observing collateral in sclera-conjunctiva on lower energizer in shape,flow state and blood vessel circumstance by using ZL104 BCMC detector.The shape,flow state and blood vessel circumstance of bulbar conjunctiva microcirculation contain several observation items.After we finished the collection,observation of each research object,we saved the image in to the computer containing the software that can make the integration of each observation items.Finally we computed the total and itemized integral according to Tian’s theory,and comparing each observation items between two groups.All the Analysis work of the date is done by the software of SPSS 19.0.Result:1.The total integral of sclera-conjunctiva in lower energizer was different between healthy group and disease group.Disease group was higher than healthy group.The difference was statistically significant(P=0.000<0.05).2.The shape integral of sclera-conjunctiva in lower energizer was different between healthy group and disease group.Disease group was higher than healthy group.The difference was statistically significant(P=0.000<0.05).3.The flow state integral of sclera-conjunctiva in lower energizer was different between healthy group and disease group.Disease group was higher than healthy group.The difference was statistically significant(P=0.000<0.05).4.The difference between healthy group and disease group in vessel circumstance was not statistically significant(P=0.326>0.05).5.Among shape integral,the integral of clarity,net structure,microvessel number,diameter of venule,irregular diameter of vessels,rough edge,irregular distribution of vessels,cystic dilatation,tiny haemangioma and ischemic area were different between healthy group and disease group.Disease group was higher than healthy group.The difference was statistically significant.But the integral of diameter of arteriole was not statistically significant(P=0.208>0.05).6.Among blood flow state integral,the integral of blood color and arteriovenous shunt in disease group were higher than healthy group.The difference was statistically significant.7.Among vessel circumstance integral,the integral of exudation and edema(P=0.753>0.05),bleeding(P=0.753>0.05)and hemosiderosis(P=0.420>0.05)were not statistically significant between healthy group and disease group.Preliminary Conclusion:1.collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva in lower energizer region was diffreret in patients with Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney comparing with healthy people.2.The character of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva in lower energizer region on patients with Yin-dificiency of liver and kidney:(1)General character: The surface of sclera-conjunctiva and collaterals on it in lowerenergizer region were fuzzy and poor developing,the collaterals was mainly dark red.(2)Shape and distribution character of collaterals:.There were nodules on collertal interspreadly.The shape of collaterals was stiff and with irregular diameter and has fuzzy boundary with other tissue.The number of collaterals increased and the diameter slightly broaden.The hyperplastic collaterals was limited in certain area and alternate with ischemic area.The distribution shape transformed into netlike from treelike.3..All those changes of collaterals in the trailis is the same as professor Peng’s description of deep red,varicose,multi-embranchment,dim area,and they are the same in pathogenesisPaper two Reasearch on the Law of change of Collaterals in Sclera-conjunctiva of Apoplexy convalescent of Yin-deficiency of Liver and Kidney with the Treatment of Eye-acupunctureObjective: Discussing the possibility of evaluating eye-acupuncture efficiency measured by integral of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva and efficiency advantage of the treatment protocols which is the combination of eye-acupuncture and regular rehabilitation treatment for apoplexy convalescent by observing the improvement of integral of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva under the effort of eye-acupuncture,neural functional recovery and activity of daily living of the post stroke patients of Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney.Method: This test was randomized controlled trail.The patients of Yin-dificiency of liver and kidney in accordance with the inclusion criteria were randomized into test group and control group,30 per group.The control group received the therapy of internal routine treatment,rehabilitation training and body-acupuncture.The test group took the same therapy of control group and in addition received the treatment of eye-acupuncture.According to the theory of eye acupuncture region-dividing point location,eye-acupuncture was operated in liver region,kidney region,upper energizer region and lower energizer region of both eyes,once every day,20 minutes every time from Monday to Friday.The test last 4 weeks.Beforeand after the treatment,we took the image materials of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva on lower energizer region of the patients from two groups.And took the score of neurological function and ability of daily life by the scale.And the we quantitatively analyzed the integral of collaterals in lower energizer region before and after the test.The specific methods was the same as test one.Making comparison of neurological deficit scores and activity scores of daily living of two groups before and after the test and evaluating the response.All the Analysis work was done by the software of SPSS 19.0.Result:1.The integral of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva on lower energizer region was higher in test group than it was in control group.Among total integral(P=0.001<0.05),shape integral(P=0.001<0.05)and blood flow integral(P=0.004<0.05).The difference in vessel circumstance integral between two group was not statistically significant.2.Among shape integral: The integral of clarity(P=0.000<0.05),net structure(P=0.002<0.05),irregular diameter of vessels(P=0.020<0.05),rough edge(P=0.036<0.05),irregular distribution of vessels(P=0.000<0.05),cystic dilatiation(P=0.000<0.05),tiny haemangioma(P=0.000<0.05),ischemic area(P=0.000<0.05)was lower in test group than it was in control group after the test.The differerce was statistically significant.3.Among blood flow state integral: The integral of blood color in test group was lower than in control group after the test.The difference was statistically significant(P=0.000<0.05).The difference of integral of arteriovenous shunt was not statistically significant between two group after the test(P=0.074>0.05).4.Among vessel circumstance integral: The difference was not statistically significant among the integral of exudation and edema(P=0.165>0.05),bleeding(P=0.393>0.05),hemosiderosis(P=0.660>0.05)between two group after the test.5.Neurological deficit score: Both therapy can decrease the score of volunteers of apoplexy convalescent with Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney.But test group was better than control group.The difference between two group was statistically significant(P=0.002<0.05).6.Activity score of daily living:Both therapy can decrease the score of volunteers of apoplexy convalescent with Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney.But test group was better thancontrol group.The difference between two group was statistically significant(P=0.000<0.05)7.After the test,the total effective rate of test group was 93.33%,control group was 83.33%.Test group was better than control group.The difference was statically significant.(P=0.038<0.05)Preliminary Conclusion:1.Eye-acupuncture can obviously improve the condition of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva on lower energizer region of patients of apoplexy convalescent with Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney.2.The impact of eye-acupuncture on the shape and blood flow state of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva mainly reflected on those items below:Eye-acupuncture can promote local metabolism of sclera-conjunctiva and improve the charity,improve the stasis state of blood,improve the irregular state of collaterals such as irregular diameter of vessels,rough edge etc.,improve the distribution of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva,decrease the number of cystic dilation and tiny haemangioma,promote the hyperplasia of vessels in ischemic area,increase the number of vessels.It can also expand the diameter of arteriole.But this effort was not obvious on venule and has dual-directional regulation on venule and arteriole to a certain extent.3.Eye-acupuncture can improve the recovery of neurological function and enhance the ability of daily life.4.Eye-acupuncture can increase the effective rate of routine treatment protocols of apoplexy convalescent.Conclusion:1.collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva in lower energizer region was diffreret in patients of headache,vertigo and apoplexy convalescent with Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney comparing with healthy people.Shows that :The surface of sclera-conjunctiva and collaterals on it in lower energizer region were fuzzy and poor developing,the collaterals was mainly dark red.There were nodules on collertal interspreadly.The shape of collaterals was stiff andwith irregular diameter and has fuzzy boundary with other tissue.The number of collaterals increased and the diameter slightly broaden.The hyperplastic collaterals was limited in certain area and alternate with ischemic area.The distribution shape transformed into netlike from treelike.2.The specific changes of collaterals in sclera-conjunctiva in lower energizer region of the patients with Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney proved that the theory of diagnosis by inspecting eyes has sufficient morphological basis.3.ollaterals in sclera-conjunctiva in lower energizer region of patients of apoplexy convalescent with Yin-deficiency of liver and kidney change in keeping with the change of illness.4.Diagnosis by inspecting eyes is a well-founded inspecting means.
