Research On The Idea And Development Of The Artistic Style Of The Pixel

"Pixel graphics" was a kind of graphic phase originally produced and created by the screen media.The “sawtooth edge” presented after the enlargement was then a kind of technical defects in the early development of the personal computer.However,with the development of the era,these defects have become a unique visual language for designers and artists.It gradually evolved into an independent visual expression style that uses the smallest pixel points as the basic elements,and the basic compositional rules of vertical and horizontal elements to be arranged,combined,and constructed in a limited range-pixel art style-widely used in design and art fields.Therefore,the author hopes that through the research and combing of the origin,formation,development,crisis and the process of the new form of regression of the pixel art style,it will provide effective tools for contemporary artists and designers to seek new expression techniques and visual language in the digital era.In this paper,a systematic theoretical study of pixel art style is carried out in three parts: 1.The historical track of the origin,formation and development of the pixel art style.First of all,it is the research on the etymology of the word "Pixel";secondly,it combs out the historical process of "pixel graphics" gradually developed into "pixel art style".In the end,it discusses the background of pixel art and the influences of objective and subjective factors in the process of its creation that finally led to the formation of this unique artistic style.2.The features and connotations of the artistic style of pixels: In this part,the formal language of pixel art is deeply studied and the intrinsic characteristics of the form language of pixel art are analyzed.The "vocabulary","phrase","grammar","rhetoric" of pixel art,and the external expressions of the order,reproduction,purity,interactivity,popularity and interest of the pixel art style are also analyzed.3.The application of pixel art style in various artistic design fields: Through the preceding summary of the regularity of pixel art styles,the methodology of the application of pixel art style in various fields is combed,and the application and deduction of pixel art style in the field of design and contemporary art are demonstrated by a large number of design practice cases,so that it has a substantial guiding role in the field of practice.Through the systematic research on the pixel art style in the above three parts,we can draw the following conclusion: "Pixel art style " is a kind of nostalgic sentimental expression from the screen era;"pixel art style" is a special visual angle to observe the world;"pixel art style" is an open creative culture;"Pixel art style" is an open creative culture;"Pixel art style" is an artistic style with an uncertain evolutionary trajectory.
