The Lisu syllabic is a kind of ethical syllabic system created by individual. In the past, the Lisu nationality didn’t have linguistic system, using knots and carve as primitive recording methods. In 1920 s,Wang Renbo, who was a peasant living in Weixi County,Yunnan Province, created Lisu ethical syllabic system by himself.Wang Renbo was propelled by both ethical emotion and individual experience to create Lisu syllabic system. For creating a complete whole linguistic system,Wang Renbo spent all most ten years, and then popularized this syllabic system to Lisu nationality. As individual-created ethical linguistic system,Lisu syllabic system is rare in the history of writing, and will support new research thinking and precious material to the research on the origin and born of words and characters。The Lisu syllabic system dictionary collects 1147 syllabic-shapes in which can be investigated its origin.Original investigation is the base of the study.Lisu syllabic system is a kind of phonograph. After linking pronunciation, analysis shows that the creator used word-formation element when he decided the syllabic-shape.Word-formation element, without pronunciation and meaning,is just the basement of syllabic-shape.Meanwhile,there are small numbers of Xiangxing characters and Huiyi characters in Lisu syllabic system because of lacking word-shape criterion by the creator. In addition,Wang Renbo maybe had already offered a glimpse of the language structure. There are a number of derived characters in Lisu syllabic system.By ‘ derived characters ’,we mean the characters which was derived from other linguistic system.Lisu syllabic system is mainly derived from Chinese characters,Tibetan and Fraser alphabet.Derived characters in Lisu syllabic system was accomplished by special geographical location, complicated historic process, rich ethical and religious culture in Weixi area as well as Wang Renbo’s experience together. In Lisu syllabic system, there are 242 variant groups with 590 word-shapes.There is a connection between various variant and the nature of Lisu syllbary. As individual-made characters, creating the system must go through a iterative way, changing the word-shapes again and again. Also, leaner may change the word-shapes when copy characters. In addition, there are one-shape with various pronunciation, which can creating variants in practice. When completing the system,Wang Renbo and his disciple used Lisu syllbary in writing literature including myth, poetry, calendar, astronomy, divination and so on.Lisu syllabic literature were initial found in the research in 1980 s,which have been collected about one hundred thousand words up to now.Stone stele of syllabic language known as Wang Renbo,is the most important discovery in 2013.The Lisu syllabic literatures need more arrangement and protection. After the research of the 80 s in the following century(in 1980s),there was no report about the situation of Lisu syllabic system. In order to investigate the current status of this language, interviewing the mass and using of questionnaires were surveyed four times from 2015 to 2017.The survey found that Lisu syllabic system is still used by Lisu nationality.School education is an essential way to spread this system. The Lisu syllabic system has already become one mark of Lisu ethnicity in Weixi. With the exception of Lisu syllabic system, there are several individual-made ethical linguistic systems in the world, such as Cherokee Script and Pahawh Hmong. The individual-made ethical linguistic system, which was affected by known linguistic system and taking consciousness and characters of language,is different from self-original ones.Individual-made ethical linguistic system has connection with national identity. The ability of creator is crucial to the process of creating words and characters.
