This thesis applys the French philosopher Gilles Deleuze’s thought of “becoming” to art education management,trying to put forward the proposition of “The Construction of Becoming Dimensions in College Art Education Management”,and to endow art education management with “the becoming character”.The author repositions and introduces the concept of art education management with becoming thought,reshaping the form of organizational management activities,and reconstructing the relationship model among people in the organizational management system.This is both managing for the concept of “becoming”,and adopting the method of “becoming” management.The concept proposed in this dissertation aims at waking up the ego asleep for long,healing the id deep inside,and creating an invigorating superego,in order to attain a manage context of beauty,love,and a life with more freedon.However,for art education managers,the trend of becoming is the inevitable development of history and logic.It is the inherent character of its own evolution,and the path of change that should be chosen based on the reflection of the present situation.By exploring how to construct the dimension of becoming in art education management,so as to set up a mindset with higher realm of life,this paper is expected to build up a mindset with a higher realm of life,promote the innovation of art education management in theory and method,and to open up new space for discussion and practice.The thesis consists of five parts:The introduction demonstrates the origin of the research through the analysis of the change of educational management concept,the need of the development of modern art education,and the becoming of teachers’ career development.It then defines the four concepts: art education,art education management,college art education management,and the becoming detention education management,which clarifies the main objects of this research.The related literatures are reviewed,the theoretical and practical value of the research are claimed,and the methodology is also summarized.Chapter One is mainly about the interpretation of Gilles Deleuze’s “becoming” thought.First of all,through elaborating the concept of becoming and existence,becoming-others,as well as becoming and creation,it explains how becoming is undergone.That is,the ontological study of Deleuze’s becoming thought,answering the question of what is becoming.Secondly,it makes definitions and distinctive analysis on Deleuze’s concept of “becoming” and related conceptual tools,and combs the relationship between the elements of education management and the concept of becoming with related conceptual tools.This will be the construction of the premise of Deleuze’s “becoming” interfering art education management,providing a solid philosophical and theoretical basis and space for the vision of this research.Finally,through the elaboration of the relationship between Deleuze’s philosophical thought and art education,the intrinsic becoming relationship between Deleuze’s philosophical thought and art is clarified,thus making clear the becoming preference in art education management.And in this way,the inevitable link between Deleuze’s becoming thought and art education management is confirmed.Chapter Two explains the historical evolution pattern of art education management.In view of Deleuze’s vision of “becoming”,it justifies the “towards becoming” as an inevitable choice of art education management reform from the angles of historical evolution and value meaning.On the one hand,from the perspective of historical evolution,it examines the trajectory of the theoretical evolution and paradigm shift of art education management theory(from the scientific paradigm and humanistic paradigm to the postmodern pluralistic paradigm),and demonstrates that the historical situation of art education management is generally reflected as “The Becoming Movement”(continuously disintegrating the movement),and indicates that “becoming” is the character of the history of art education management.On the other hand,it demonstrates the significance and enlightenment of the becoming thought to the art education management,revealing the necessity of constructing the becoming dimension of the art education management.Chapter Three is written based on the objective evolution rule of art education management,that is,“towards becoming” is the choice for art education management reform.The discussion of this chapter stems from the survey on the current art education management in colleges,which means to examine the situation of becoming in the current art education management.Through empirical research – interviews and surveys – the author induces the typical problem and the “barrier for becoming”,which is also the character anti-becoming.This mainly features the predictable and controllable education management process,the management goals with efficiency at its core,and the aborescent education management organization.Then,this paper indicates that the real problems in current art education management has its traditional and modern roots.The traditional roots lies in bureaucracy and traditional culture,whereas the modern roots lies in modern philosophy(realization of the disciplined society)and instrumental rationality.Chapter Four is mainly based on the perspective of Deleuze’s becoming thought,under the revolutionary choice of “towards becoming”,it puts forward the possibility of the theory – “becoming dimension of art education management in colleges and universities” Specifically,this is to take “becoming” as an important scale,orientation and parameter,it further proposes the specific path of stimulating the implementation of becoming,so as to reposition and re-describe the concept,organization,process,and evaluation of art education management.That is to say,a becoming art education management should be stimulated in the management concept,and should be tuberized in the management organization.The management process should emphasize process-oriented,and management evaluation should adopt the orientation and method of becoming.The conclusion reviews this research on “constructing the becoming dimension of the art education management in colleges and universities”.It firstly pointed out that when Deleuze’s becoming theory and concept are involved in the art education management,a proposition of “constructing the becoming dimension in art education management” is bound to bring new changes into this field,gather different groups together to build a comprehensive “subjects coalition”,have the art education management present its essential power,and endow art management with new duties and responsibilities.Secondly,this thesis emphasizes the importance of the becoming dimension of art education management toward ideology,organization,process,and evaluation in its construction process.Secondly,the author points out that in the process of constructing becoming in college art education management,those important values lie in the theory,organization,process,and reflection,provides potential breakthroughs and possibilities for the current education management.In addition,though this paper repeatedly emphasizes the becoming dimension,and focuses on building a becoming art education management,it should not be taken as the only dimension or parameter.Rather,importance should be attached to the active interactions among elements of art education management,to learn the dynamic balance among multidimensions.In this way,by introducing the becoming perspective,the importance of becoming is fully presented in the practical exploration of art education management.Therefore,art education management in China must redevelop its unique aesthetics in the intelligence system,in order to possess real spiritual strength,thinking depth,and to become a real pioneer.Its significance lies in the training effect which must surpass traditional aesthetics.This requires showing appreciation and respect towards the beauty of other culures.It is human who make themselves human.Its significance is to go beyond the traditional aesthetics’ training function.Because the aim of the proposal that art education management need to be established in higher education,is neither beauty or art,but the life states of humans who possess a becoming meaning of their existence and to make human “human”.
