Research On Aesthetic Consciousness Of Postmodernism Philosophy

Conscious attention to aesthetic issues is an important theoretical feature of postmodern philosophy.The aesthetic consciousness is not only a theoretical continuation of the aestheticization of modern western philosophy,but also an important link in the aestheticization of western philosophy.Starting from the perspective of meta-philosophy,the thesis systematically analyzes,sorts out and summarizes the origin,pedigree,thinking and methodology of the aesthetic consciousness of postmodern philosophy,and on this basis,evaluates its influence,significance and limits.The author holds that the attention of postmodern philosophy to aesthetic issues is not due to temporary interest,but due to profound cultural background,long ideological pedigree and unique postmodern context.As the theoretical representation of enlightenment and modernity,the aesthetic consciousness of postmodern philosophy is a response to the trend of aesthetic modernity.As a part of the history of western philosophy,postmodern philosophical aesthetic consciousness is the continuation of modern philosophical aesthetic consciousness in postmodernism.However,the uniqueness of postmodern philosophy itself determines that it is not a simple continuation of the trend of aesthetic modernity and the aesthetic tradition of modern philosophy,but pushes philosophy to “pan-beautification” or “non-philosophy” with a more conscious,clearer,fuller and more eye-catching aesthetic attitude.Lyotard,Foucault,Deleuze,Derrida,Rorty and others,as models of post-modernist philosophers,have all shown great enthusiasm and concern for aesthetic issues.Their philosophical thoughts are presented in the form of “pan-beautification”,thus forming the theoretical pedigree of post-modernist philosophical aesthetic consciousness.Lyotard regards sublimity as a tool for modernity to rewrite itself,thus expanding the philosophy of “différend” to the field of art;Foucault equates individual subjectification with individual aesthetic life practice,thus making philosophy an art of life;Deleuze connects philosophy and film across borders,thus creating a “time-image” that can grasp the flow of transcendental empiricism.Derrida removes the opposition between philosophy and literature,thus treating deconstructive philosophy as a writing practice or literary creation based on the principle of “différance”.Rorty coordinates neo-pragmatism and neo-Nietzsche with imagination and compassion,thus constructing “liberal ironic utopia” in his novels.Behind the aesthetic discourses of postmodern philosophers with different styles lies the same way of thinking and line of reasoning.That is to rebuild the relationship between rationality and sensibility,philosophy and literature,art,criticism and construction by eliminating opposition and blurring boundaries,that is,the way of thinking dually.However,this same way of thinking is based on the same methodological standpoint,that is,adhering to the non-logical standpoint of pluralism,equal dialogue and free connection and to the recognition of different perspectives and elements,actively crossing the boundaries of disciplines,and striving to realize equal dialogue and free marriage between rationality and sensibility,philosophy and literature and art.The aesthetic consciousness of postmodern philosophy has aroused widespread concern.Many thinkers led by Habermas launched fierce criticism on the pan-beautification attitude of postmodern philosophy and believed that it led to the end of philosophy,the destruction of classics,the nihility of values and the dilemma of actions.Facing these doubts and accusations,postmodern philosophers gave a strong and instructive response.It is in the confrontation between questioning and response that the legitimacy of the pan-beautified postmodern philosophy is further confirmed.The aesthetic consciousness of postmodern philosophy has an important influence on the reconstruction of contemporary philosophical discourse.Schustermann from the United States,Ranciere fromFrance,Welsch from Germany and other important contemporary philosophers have created “somaesthetics”,“political aesthetics” and “reconstruction aesthetics” respectively starting from the aesthetic discourse of post-modernism philosophy.They have constructed philosophy as a living art with body as the core,an aesthetics beyond aesthetics,and an aesthetic heterotopia that redistributes sensibility,which not only further confirms the legitimacy of post-modernism philosophy of pan-beautification,but also pushes it to a higher level.Aesthetic consciousness of postmodern philosophy has important philosophical significance.This consciousness renews the theme of traditional philosophy,expands the object of philosophical thinking from pure rational cognition to perceptual cognition,and endows philosophy with new theoretical connotation.It broadens the discipline boundary of traditional philosophy,extends the vision of philosophy from “strict science” to non-philosophical disciplines such as literature and art,and opens a wider cultural space for the development of philosophy disciplines.It changes the writing style of traditional philosophy and reaches philosophy in non-philosophical ways such as literature and art,thus realizing the diversification of philosophical forms and approaches.It has changed the existing modesof of traditional philosophy,transforming philosophy from theoretical philosophy,which pursues abstract meaning and theoretical argumentation,to cultural philosophy with great vitality,which transforms individual life and living world.Although the aesthetic consciousness of postmodern philosophy has carried out an all-round aesthetic transformation of traditional philosophy,which has triggered a series of important philosophical changes,postmodern philosophy still needs further reflection on its practice of obliterating the boundaries between philosophy and literature and art and making philosophy pan-beautified.
