| This method extends adaptation to meshfree numerical methods. Adaptation has been previously used on structured and unstructured meshes. Adaptation of meshfree methods is a logical extension. This paper explores a one-dimensional problem, u' = g, using meshfree adaptation. It uses the least squares finite element method, LSFEM.
