The Surface Forces Apparatus technique was used to study the effects of adsorption time, force-measuring rate, and repeated compression-decompression on the interactions between high molecular weight polystyrenes ;Interaction forces were also measured between surfactant-coated mica surfaces in tetradecane containing polyethylene-propylene.
