This is a study of the associations between who respondents associate with and their AIDS risk behaviors, their conventional as well as their criminal lifestyle and their AIDS risk behavior, their level of intrusion and avoidance of thoughts about AIDS and their AIDS risk behavior, their perceived threat of AIDS to themselves, to others and from others in their social network and their AIDS risk behavior, and their level of knowledge about how AIDS is epidemiologically transmitted and their AIDS risk behavior.
