This dissertation is a study of the missionary potential of the diasporal Chinese Church for world evangelization and suggests ways and directions for developing a missionary strategy for the Chinese Church. To accomplish this, the Chinese missions is dealt with in the following areas: its biblical basis, its strengths and weaknesses, its potentials, and its directions. Most of the chapters focus on providing practical strategies.; The author draws upon his missionary experience working among the diaspora Chinese in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Canada, Europe, South Africa, Mauritius and Reunion. Together with his missiological training in the School of World Mission, Fuller Theological Seminary, he gives suggestions to the Chinese Church as follows: (1) To build a firm foundation of mission through a strong biblical theology of mission; (2) To start Chinese mission agencies using the local church as a base and or establish independent mission agencies; (3) To conduct field researches for making plans and strategies; (4) To reach the masses through urban evangelism; (5) To evangelize the world using dispersed Chinese churches as bases; (6) To obtain quality missionaries through quality training in missions; (7) To communicate effectively through cultural studies.
