The microscopic mechanism and thermal effect of dynamic process of gas adsorption, desorptiondiffusion dynamics process were analyzed by using theries thus as the surface physical chemistry,thermodynamics, and the adsorption potential theory. Gas adsorption and desorption experimentsunder different condisions were done by using the improved experimental system. The results showthat the adsorption process is a kind of exothermic process while the desorption process is a kind ofendothermic process. The variation and changing rate of temperature are related to the metamorphicgrade of coal, the environment temperature, the particle size of coal and the equilibrium pressure.Temperature variation with time accord with the exponential function. The diffusion coefficient wascalculated under the1st kind of boundary, and the Temperature variation vs. the desorption volumemodel was established. The model and the experimental data are fitted well. The verify indicators topredict coal and gas outburst was put forward under laboratory conditions. A new method to heat thecoal seam based on the phase change material was invented. The research results is valuable toreveal the mechanism of coal and gas outburst and to prevent coal and gas outburst. |
