Music performance psychology revolves around the life and emotion expressed by bodily movements found in human performance.Instrumental music performance requires long-term skill training.Flexibility of the body allows musicians to play accordingly to the music's needs.Psychological factors that support such skill-based activities are ones innervated by the nervous system. It is important for musicians to study their musical pieces as it allows them to adjust their physiology, psychology and performance in accordance with the music's underlying message and emotion, which then translates more straightforwardly to audiences.Physiological performance psychology uses the following methods: the psychological dynamic method, the exist-humanism method, the cognitive behavioural method and the integrated method-all of which make it easier for performers to understand and master the essence of physiology and psychology in music performance, also in half the time needed had they only practiced performance skill. This article infuses the latest results of physiological psychological with instrumental stage performance research, discusses performers' physical and psychological performance training methods and how these methods can improve.External intervention methods will also be analyzed for performers suffering physical and mental injury. The goal of this research piece is to help instrumental music performers maintain optimal physical and psychological levels whilst performing with confidence and uniqueness.
