In the long history of human development and progress,the national issue is undoubtedly one of the core issues in the process of social development.Both historical experience and reality show that it is vital to understand ethnic relations and deal with ethnic issues correctly.Under the leadership of the communist party of China,the people of all ethnic groups in Inner Mongolia live in close unity and harmony,making special and important contributions to the maintenance of national unity and border stability.So,it has become a model of national unity in China,with the reputation of "model autonomous region".However,national unity is neither achieved overnight nor once and for all;It not only needs to be guaranteed through relevant systems,but also needs to be consolidated and strengthened through national unity education.Socialism with Chinese characteristics into a new era,new changes in the social principal contradiction,Inner Mongolia national unity education work is facing new tasks and new challenges,facing the complex situation at home and abroad,the national unity of Inner Mongolia education to keep up with the development of The Times demand,uphold justice,harmonious development,and mutual care education idea and practice,deepen peoples understanding of national culture,strengthen the consciousness of unity and struggle will and community consciousness,the Chinese nation continuous dissolution factors unfavorable to the unity of the nationalities,avoid national estrangement between various nationalities and ethnic conflicts,promoting national unity,To maintain the prosperity and development of Inner Mongolia autonomous region,and to contribute to the maintenance of the country and the world's common survival and development order.In this paper using the method of literature research,on-the-spot investigation,historical analysis and other research methods,according to the Inner Mongolia autonomous region has been established,especially since the founding of the national unity education's development history,starting from the reality situation of Inner Mongolia autonomous region,a summary of different historical stages shows the characteristics of the national unity education practice.The research shows that the Inner Mongolia autonomous region attaches great importance to ethnic unity education and constantly improves the ethnic unity education system,which has formed a systematic,standardized and normalized situation.Meanwhile,there are some problems that need to be solved urgently.This paper is divided into three parts:introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction introduces the research significance of this topic,the research status at home and abroad,defines the basic concepts of nationality,national equality,national unity and national unity education from a multi-disciplinary perspective,and expounds the research methods,innovations and shortcomings.The body part is divided into seven chapters: the first chapter is the basic overview of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region,including the physical geography and population,the characteristics of ethnic relations and the status quo of ethnic unity;This paper discusses the basic constitution of national unity education(target and task,object and content,policy and principle,method and effect).This paper expounds the significance of ethnic unity education in Inner Mongolia autonomous region(including the direct significance of Inner Mongolia,the domestic significance and the world significance).The second chapter mainly expounds the theoretical basis of ethnic unity education,including the marxist classical writers' thoughts on ethnic equality and unity and the important discussion on ethnic equality and unity of the leading group of the communist party of China.The traditional cultural foundation of Inner Mongolia national unity is also analyzed,and the reliable realistic guarantee of national unity education is analyzed.The third chapter to the sixth chapter divide the development of ethnic unity education since the establishment of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region according to historical development.The development of ethnic unity education since the establishment of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was divided into several periods according :around the period of the founding of New China(the beginning of Inner Mongolia ethnic unity education);period of socialist construction(the tortuous advancement of Inner Mongolia ethnic unity education);new period of reform and opening up(the leap-forward development of Inner Mongolian ethnic unity education);new era(the development and innovation of Inner Mongolian ethnic unity education).And it discusses the development track,basic practices and historical achievements of national unity education in each historical stage,summarizes the development rules and main experiences of the education of national unity in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,and adheres to the principle of combining history and theory,aiming to solve the major theoretical and practical problems of the education of national unity in different historical stages.Among them,the third chapter mainly describes the situation of national unity at the beginning of the establishment of Inner Mongolia.With the propaganda of the unified Inner Mongolia national autonomy as the main content,combined with the situation at home and abroad,the development of social undertakings,the focus of national unity education,etc.,from the theoretical and practical level,it emphasizes the importance of national policy publicity and education for national cadres.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the national work in the tortuous development of socialist construction,the serious damage suffered by the national work during the "Cultural Revolution",as well as the new achievements and development of the national unity education in this period,and summarizes the positive and negative experience of the national unity education in this period.The analysis shows that there is no new significant improvement in the national work in the wandering period.The fifth chapter mainly expounds the overall development process of Inner Mongolia's national unity education in the period of reform and opening up,the unity and mutual assistance of the people of all ethnic groups and great achievements in the process of reform,focusing on the concept of national unity education and patriotism education in primary and secondary schools;the sixth chapter mainly discusses the in-depth exploration and innovative development of Inner Mongolia's national unity education since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,especially the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is interpreted.Besides,the achievements of the work of national unity in the new era are summarized and the goal and task of the education of national unity in the new era are clarified.In order to avoid the subjective bias of the research,the content of this chapter is based on the field investigation of "four league cities" and the individual interview with seven students of "ethnic class with less population" in Inner Mongolia Party school.The research shows that the education of national unity in each league city has something in common in concept,system and practice method,but has its own characteristics in content and form.We should not only see the achievements,but also see the existing problems for the current national unity.On this basis,we put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the orderly development of Mongolian national unity education in the new era.The seventh chapter is the conclusion part,also is the experience enlightenment part.Firstly,the importance,necessity and urgency of "summing up the experience of national unity education" are clarified;secondly,the historical basic experience of national unity education in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is systematically and comprehensively summarized;finally,the practical enlightenment of these successful experiences for strengthening the work of national unity education in the future is analyzed.
