Study On The Arrangement Of Archives And Documents Of Yunnan Military Academy

As one of the earliest and lasting military schools in modern Chinese history,Yunnan Military Academy is an important part of Chinese modern history and Yunnan local history.Its archives and documents are characterized by "scattered preservation,uncertain quantity,complex composition,small entity volume,poor historical continuity,and poor specificity and systematization of information content".In a word,there are obvious structural defects in the archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy.In general,the scattered preservation of the archives and documents,belong with the lack of arrangement and research work make people see very limited,and objectively cause many difficulties to the utilization and historical research at present.Therefore,study on the arrangement and research of archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy it's an important work to clarify its basic situation and promote its systematization,which can correct some errors in the study of history and return the research perspective of the history of Yunnan Military Academy to itself.And the academic thinking on the basis of these studies can be used for reference to the archives with homogeneity.By using the methods of field investigation,expert interview,text analysis,comparative research and all-round research,this paper makes a systematic analysis on the archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy from the following six parts.The first part is the concept definition and theoretical basis.This part is mainly theoretical foreshadowing,starting from the concepts of Yunnan Military Academy,archives and documents,archives and documents arrangement.This paper defines Yunnan Military Academy from the time and development stage,thinking it was founded in 1907 and ended in 1945.Besides,from the perspective of open literature resources collection,this paper defines archives and documents,highlights the value and role of it in the historical development process of Yunnan Military Academy,and emphasizes that its arrangement should include two parts: entity and information content.At the same time,it analyzes the principle of provenance,the theory of archives arrangement,the dualistic value of archives and the historical origin theory as the theoretical basis of this paper.The second part is the distribution of archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy.In this part,the author summarizes the distribution of the archives and documents,which are preserved in Yunnan Military Academy Museum,Yunnan Provincial Archives,Yunnan Provincial Library,Kunming Archives,Institute of Modern History Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the later generations of teachers and students of the school.And this part also has objectively defined which are the archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy,which are not,and the relationship between these archives and documents.The third part is the present situation of the archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy arrangement.This part makes a preliminary analysis on the arrangement work of each safekeeping unit,and on this basis,this paper points out the problems which existing in the arrangement work from the aspects of "The arrangement results need to be improved","The archives and documents information content arrangement has not yet taken seriously","The catalogue of archives and documents need to be sorted out and the system needs to be established","The research and collation forces have not yet fully formed a joint force".In the fourth part,this paper discusses the concept,exploration and suggestion of the archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy.In view of the problems existing in the archives and documents arrangement,this paper puts forward some arrangement concepts such as "Based on the current situation of archives and documents collation of Yunnan Military Academy","Maintaining the historical connection between the archives and documents with subject connection","Putting clarify and construct the archives and documents system as the arrangement work basic goal"," Putting restore the historical development process of Yunnan Military Academy as the ultimate goal".Besides,through arranging the archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy Museum and compiling other archives and documents with complementary significance,this paper holds that it is a beneficial exploration to arrange the archives and documents with the connection of "subject" to solve the structural defects of the archives.Based on the analysis of practical experience,in response to the practical problems existing in the archives and documents arrangement of Yunnan Military Academy,this paper further puts forward some suggestions such as "Pay attention to the arrangement of information content of archives","Establishment of joint catalogue and full text database of archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy",to solve the problems existing in the archives and documents arrangement and the structural defects.The fifth part,research on some historical problems of Yunnan Military Academy based on archives and documents.In this part,based on the archives and documents collected by custodian unit,the information content of the archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy is preliminarily sorted out and analyzed,and the fact that Yunnan Military Academy was founded in 1907 and ended in 1945 is affirmed.The article thinks under the guidance of the view history as a process,on the isomorphism of archives and social practice,analyzing the establishment and development process,the organization management and specification of Yunnan Military Academy from the long-term,it can not only cover more historical experiences and participants,enrich the narrative content and historical data basis of relevant historical research,promote the substantive progress of historical research,but also help to discover the deficiencies of archives and documents.The sixth part is the academic thinking about the arrangement of archives and documents of Yunnan Military Academy.In this part,on the basis of the analysis of the distribution and the arrangement current situation of the archives and documents of the Yunnan Military Academy,and the summary of the relevant practical experience,after the analysis of some historical problems,this paper thinks that the archives and documents take the development process of the Yunnan Military Academy as the record object,but it has obvious structural defects.From the perspective of Archival Philology,contacting different documents with subject connection to carry out joint arrangement,from the historical point of view,advocating the establishment of the "Archives + X" literature system,using process view to guide the arrangement of archives and documents,can be able to make up for and perfect the archives and documents structural defects.
