| Because of Shi Lu "mental problem" and resistance during the Cultural Revolution,the artist’s image in the history of art was greatly simplified as a revolutionary martyr and a political victim.In such narrative,the artist’s revolutionary art experiments in the 1940s in the Yan’an period,as well as his different paths and attempts on Chinese painting transformation in the new China period have been greatly hidden.This paper attempts to study Shi Lu’s artistic creation from 1940 to 1964.Before the extreme situation of his schizophrenia,his artistic creation and exploration in the process from being a"revolutionary artist" to a "new Chinese literary and art cadre" and to a "new leader in Chinese painting" had shown the Change from "Revolutionary Art" to "Socialist Literature and Art".This paper introduces the most important keyword "revolution" in the 20th century to increase a new dimension of research on Shi Lu’s art.Through study on his art from 1940 to 1964,this paper on the one hand excavates his revolutionary art exploration influenced by the political revolution and the situation in the war in the Yan’an period,his promotion of the formation and dissemination of revolutionary ideas through art,and so as the completion of the revolution of art itself;on the other hand,with this rich and vivid case,this paper returns to the complex and detailed historical scenes,to show the artistic changes of revolutionary literature and art to the socialist art,to find experience and loss during the growth and shaping of modern and contemporary Chinese art,so as to seek new kinetic energy for the development of contemporary art. |
