The age of manuscripts and block-printed edition are distinguished by the communication media. The change of the communication media will cause the change of the communication environment and modes of transmission, and the change of the communication environment and modes of transmission will have an important influence on the information that depends on the media for dissemination.Different media, while disseminating the language information of Tang poetry, which means to attach their own characteristics to it and spread it out. Therefore, from the age of manuscripts to the age of block-printed edition, the transformation of the main communication media has determined the different communication environment, the mode of transmission and communication effect of Tang poetry in the Tang and Song dynasties, thus influence the evolution of the Tang poetry texts, made the same text of Tang poetry produces a large amount of complicated different characters in the age of manuscripts and block-printed edition. We have no intention of looking at these different characters which are the ones before the deviation and which are the results of the deviation in the eyes of the collation, only attempts to discuss the manifestation and reason of the deviation of Tang poetry text from the aspects of society, region, time, literalization, the change of poetic style and man-made fetching from the age of manuscripts to the age of block-printed edition by analyzing the causes, environment and reasons for the existence of different characters. This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is about the background of the age of manuscripts and blockprinted edition. This chapter mainly introduces the age of manuscripts and blockprinted edition and the related background of their changes, discusses the origin of "manuscript" and the difference between "manuscript" and "transcript",defines the connotation and extension of the age of manuscripts and block-printed edition, analyzes the characteristics and time of the transition from the age of manuscripts to the age of block-printed edition, and briefly summarizes the influence of this transition on Tang poetry. The second chapter is change in the dissemination of Tang poetry. This chapter mainly discusses the characteristics and changes of the transmission of Tang poetry and its communication environment in the age of manuscripts and block-printed edition and their transformation process.First,Tang poetry in the age of manuscripts, handwriting and oral transmission are the two main modes of transmission. The forms of hand-writing communication mainly include personal anthologies and poetry collection. In oral communication,listening-writing communication is a special form of communication in the age of manuscripts.Secondly,Tang poetry in the age of blockprinted edition, the publication of poems became the most important mode of dissemination, and hand-writing and oral transmission still existed, but gradually took a secondary place. In addition, the focus of people’s attention gradually expanded from Tang poetry to the study of Tang poetry.Poetry talks, collation, chronicle, annotation and other literary genres became a new form for Song people to spread Tang poetry.Third,Tang poetry presents two distinct ecological environments of communication in the age of manuscripts and block-printed edition.First of all,the Tang poetry text is "open text" in the age of manuscripts, and in the age of block-printed edition,it is "closed text".Secondly, the people of the Tang dynasty focused on preserving poems, while the people of the Song dynasty paid more attention to the commercial value of poems. Finally, the Dunhuang Tang poems written in the age of manuscripts are mostly mixed with religious documents,Confucian classics, folk literature and official and private documents. They are not the same as the poems of previous dynasties。Were not mixed with Tang poems in the central plains. In the age of manuscripts and blockprinted edition,it has become a single volume printing. The third chapter, the transmutation of tang poetry text. This chapter focuses on the deviation of Tang poetry in the age of manuscripts and block-printed edition.First, the flow and fixation of poetic title, discusses the regular evolution of poetic title from Dunhuang scrolls to traditional texts.Second, the rewriting and artistry of poetry, the manuscripts and block-printed edition of Li bai’s poems as examples, discusses the deviation of poetry and its process and reasons under the influence of social ideology, the change of poetry style.Thirdly, the audience of Tang poetry is wide, ranging from the dignitaries to the humble people. As an intermediate text between the elite text and the civilian text,Tang poetry has its own characteristics in the text specification. The fourth chapter is about the preservation, dissemination and deviation of Tang poetry in Wen Yuan Ying Hua.This chapter mainly takes Wen Yuan Ying Hua as the center, investigates the preservation, dissemination and deviation of Tang poetry text from the age of manuscripts to the age of block-printed edition.Wen Yuan Ying Hua was written in the early years of the Northern Song dynasty. Its editors were confronted with a large number of complicated Tang dynasty manuscripts when compiling the book. Therefore, the appearance of Tang poetry was retained to a large extent in the age of manuscripts. In the Southern Song dynasty, through detailed emendation by Zhou bida,a large number of different characters were retained, and their texts and different characters have both diachronic and synchronic features, which have become important data for us to study the variation of Tang poetry texts.First,it mainly introduces the source, the form of preservation and the environment of its formation about Wen Yuan Ying Hua.Secondly,it analyzes the semantic relations between different characters and pays attention to the regularity of the emergence and existence of different languages in a horizontal way.Thirdly,by means of longitudinal investigation, the author observes the deviation of manuscript,Wen Yuan Ying Hua,personal anthologies and Complete Tang Poems four iconic texts in different periods, reveals the concrete expression of text from fluidity to fixity from the age of manuscripts to the age of block-printed edition.Through the investigation of the above contents, the author hopes to have a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the dissemination and deviation of Tang poetry in the age of manuscripts and the age of block-printed edition and its transformation process.
