| As an important part of the ocean,the island has a pivotal strategic position and value in the development of marine resources and the construction of marine economy.Compared with the mainland,the island has a small area,a simple geographical structure,a relatively closed environment,a relatively simple ecosystem composition,a small biodiversity index,and poor stability.At present,the phenomenon of population outflow from islands is becoming more and more serious,resulting in the phenomenon of "aging" and "hollowing" of the island’s population.Population outflow is not only the flow of population,but also the transfer of labor and resources.In the long run,it will lead to an imbalance in the distribution of production factors between urban and rural areas,which in turn will affect the development of rural areas.At the same time,due to a large number of young and middle-aged islanders who choose to go out to work,coupled with the relatively remote area s,imperfect transportation conditions,and the unique geographical and climatic conditions of the island and rural areas,the number of empty-nesters in the island and rural areas has continued to increase,resulting in island villages.The population is aging and the proportion of aging is relatively large.Because of its strong industrial chain influence,tourism plays an important role in building a harmonious island.On the one hand,the development of tourism on the island is conducive to overcoming the constraints of its small terrain,lack of resources,and isolation from the outside world.On the other hand,it can promote the harmony between man and nature,man and culture,man and man,and man and society,and can coordinate the relationship between different groups and industries in the society,thereby promoting the harmony of the whole society.Therefore,for tourist-oriented islands,how to measure the vitality of island villages? Can the involvement of tourists make up for the lack of vitality brought about by the exodus of islanders? How does the involvement of tourists drive the vigorous development of island villages? These issues deserve further study.Based on the needs of the above theoretical research and practical development,the thesis is guided by the theory of human-land relationship,public communication theory,social exchange theory and system theory,and uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis.Methods,by constructing an evaluation index system of island village vitality;the island village vitality was measured from two aspects: internal support force and external representation.By identifying the influencing factors of island tourism on the vitality of island villages,this thesis deeply analyzes the driving mechanism of island tourism on island village vitality,and proposes a macro path and targeted improvement measures for island village vitality improvement.The main conclusions are as follows:First,on the whole,from 2006 to 2018,the rural vitality of Changhai County increased year by year,from 0.370 to 0.756,and the development stages experienced a weaker level,a general level and a stronger level in turn.In terms of internal vitality,the four dynamic systems of population,industry,facilities and ecology in rural areas of Changhai County have not reached a coordinated and unified state.The attraction of population showed a fluctuating downward trend,from 0.876 to 0.226,with a large decline.The development stage experienced a strong level and a weaker level in turn.Island tourism not only expands the population scale of island villages,but also temporarily changes the age structure of island villages.Overall,the level of industrial development is gradually increasing,from 0.100 to0.946,which can be divided into five stages,from weak stage to weaker stage,general stage and stronger stage to strong stage.At the same time,island tourism has a positive role in promoting the development of island rural industries,and its contribution to the development of island rural industries is increasing year by year.The overall level of facility support capacity is gradually increasing,which is divided into five stages,from weak level stage to weaker level stage,general level stage,and stronger level stage to strong level stage.At the same time,the development of tourism has objectively promoted the improvement of infrastructure,which has a positive role in promoting the development of island rural facilities.The value of ecological protection capacity shows an increasing and decreasing trend,which has gone through three stages in total,from the general level stage to the stronger level stage,then to the weaker level stage,and finally to the stronger level stage through the general level stage.Based on the analysis of the impact of tourism on island ecological vulnerability,island tourism has had a negative impact on island rural ecosystem,which is not conducive to the development of island rural ecological protection.Second,in the evaluation of the external representation of the vitality of the island villages,according to the islanders’ work,leisure,shopping and other activities,combined with the islanders’ activity density map,on the whole,in the off-season high-value areas of rural vitality in Changhai County,the islanders’ The working area and living area are mainly concentrated in the town(township)center of each island a nd the relatively developed village center,and the vitality of other parts of the island is relatively insufficient.According to the six types of activities that tourists in Changhai County mainly carry out on the island,namely food activities,accommodation activities,travel activities,travel activities,shopping activities and entertainment activities,combined with the tourist activity density map,from an overall point of view,the rural vitality of Changhai County during peak seasons.The high-value areas are mainly the tourist attractions and comprehensive development areas of each island.The comprehensive evaluation of the rural vitality of Changhai County in the off-peak season shows that tourists visiting the island can drive the vitality of the island except for the town(township)center and the relatively developed village center,which has an important impact on the development of the rural vitality of Changhai County.Third,through the interaction of influencing factors,the tourism driving force of island village vitality forms an island village vitality system,which drives the sustainable development of island village vitality.With the help of EVIEWS10.0 software,the influencing factors are identified,and the dynamic mechanism of island tourism on the vitality of island villages is divided into internal driving force and external driving force.The internal driving force includes the comprehensive attractiveness of island tourism,the proportion of employees in the tertiary industry,the number of passengers by sea and the number of fishermen’s hotels,and the external driving force includes the number of island tourists.Internal driving forces and external driving forces jointly promote the development and change of the vitality of island villages.Based on the above results,and based on the evaluation results of the population attraction,industrial development,facility support and ecological protection of the island and rural areas from 2006 to 2018,the different systems of the island and rural areas from tourists,island tourism comprehensive attractiveness,tourism practitioners,tourism service facilities and island transportation facilities,and put forward specific countermeasures to enhance the
